Or are all women, and some men, suckers when it comes to poetry. Especially when someone you know writes if just for you......
or even if it's just someone you know, but to hear something so beautiful come out of someones mouth, that you know not only came from there mind...... but also from there heart, *sigh* that just makes me melt.......

No, some people are just really good at poetry, and some just don't have interest in poetry. Therefore, they will not make good poetry.

I don't know, there's something about good poetry that just makes me melt. It's like it's piercing into my innermost thoughts and desires and putting them in written form. That's some good stuff right there.

I only enjoy it if it's good. If you can't write poetry, then please don't write poetry, and PLEASE do not expect me to listen to it. Just read me some Shakespeare.
Alas, far too many people either overestimate their talent or seem to think it's the thought that counts.
