Why do girls break up with guys say let's be friends like it's a nice jester. Then they are friendly for a while and they know they still want to be with you just from the way the two of you act when you are together. So why do they then cut off ties and want nothing to do with you when in fact they do. It makes no sense especially when she lets you know that she still loves you.

I am in my early forties and I dont look half bad for my age. I could pass for early thirties. A lot of people are surprise when I tell them my real age. My problem is I met this guy on my job who is 25 and he seems to think that he likes me but I try to tell him that he is to young for me and i have a son close to his age. My question is how do I let him down easy. Every time he runs into me at work he just acts so awkward but whenever I am not around he asks my friend about me. I am not asking if its okay to date him because I know that it is wrong. He is very nice looking and I do find it very flattering to have someone his age interested in me. It is so crazy. Kids are so crazy.

My ex spent about 8 months messing with my head while we were dating. We were best friends beforehand and I didn't have the heart to leave him. We had a bitter breakup about 2 1/2 years ago and he moved 2000 miles away. Recently he has been trying to get back in my good graces. He said he's coming to visit in a few weeks, asked me to go to dinner with him and told me he still loves me and always will. He is always throwing volleys of compliments at me and trying to be sweet. I've told him to leave me alone many times and he doesn't listen. I haven't dated since him because I was afraid of winding up with someone like him. I absolutely do not feel the same way about him as he does about me. I'm more afraid of him. How do I kindly tell him to back off and ensure that he does this time?

I have had a crush for my best friend since like 1 year ago, we spend so much time together and everybody keeps saying that he likes me too. Even he sings me love songs and stuff but never says anything serious. When people ask him about us, he doesnt say yes, but he wont say no either. But know he told me that one of his best friends, who is a guy I almost never talk to, has a crush on me, and he's like "oh, you feel like you rock because he likes you!" I'm 99% sure that that guy doesn´t like me, but then, why is my crush doing that?

My boyfriend and i broke up for about a month and a half after dating for five months. Even though we were briefly involved in rebound relationships during the break we loved and missed eachother too much to be apart. I'm ecstatic and he told me these past few weeks have been the best of his life(when we got back together). However, a few weeks ago before we got back together, he started bringing this girl to parties and stuff, and it kind of hurt me to see him with another girl. They weren't dating but she made it clear she is crazy about him. Now he told her he was getting back with me, but she even went to visit him a few days ago with friends, and is still very fond of him, and it was only a few weeks ago. He has said he doesnt really appreciate ehr talking to him all the time. It has kind of annoyed me, i mean i've got him but should i just try and ignore it?

OK, here we go... ME and this guy went out in like 7th grade (hes a year ahead of me in school) and we broke up cuz of the whole him e going to high school thing. and we've liked each other on and off. well before homecoming last year i asked him to go w/ me and he said no and I'm like OK, no harm done. them this year he asked me and i said no cuz i was going w/ one of my friends cuz he didn't ask me til like two weeks before. well any who, i still like him alot and i told himand he trunt it around and asumed that i asked him out (which i didn't) and said that the answer would most likely be yes, and that he would call me on saturday and let me know for sure. well he never did. and he hasn't said any think to me since.

I guess my question is do i have a right to be mad, and should i be?
