i think its definately ok to settle for that, for now. take things slowly and dont rush especially when love is involved. take things as they come, and just enjoy yourself for now, and when you meet the right guy whos aboslutely the perfect one, you'll know and you won't have to settle for anything less anymore.

yes, that 80 or 90% can turn into 100%. As long as what you are giving to the other is making them happy, dont ruin it if both of you are enjoying the relationship and each other, even if there isnt 100% at the moment

You shouldn't have to settle. You don't love someone right away but I wouldn't go into a relationship just thinking I"m not gonna give my all. Be open to the possibility of anything, but definitely don't settle on your happiness.

Why would anyone want to "settle"? And how do you measure this? And is it fair to be with someone who is 100% committed when you're only about 80% interested?

WHAT??!!!! Your a woman, what kind of question is that. You know that theres no such thing as 80 or 90.

Its all or nothing. If its not all.....then its not love.....rrrrriiiiigggghhhhhttttt?

Dont settle.....just keep....busy until the real things shows up.

100% love sweetie? wots that? something made on another planet? you either want to be with someone or you don't, if you string someone along so that it fills a gap in your life, rather than for the right reasons, (i.e a mutual feeling of love) then, don't be selfish.

whats that all about...i wouldnt want that ..thats not real...im ready for real love and a real situation not some flighty unreachable goal..no one is totally lovable all the time, why not approach life from a reality check and get a real result. the fun in life is not the goals or the destination, its the journey.

what do you mean by "love"? You mean sex? Why didn't you just say so! I don't understand you're question.

If you're talking about sex, then my advice is to only do what you're comfortable with, so if you're not comfortable with 100% "love" then fine, stop where you feel comfortable stopping.

This question is confusing though..

I've never been able to quantify love on a percentage scale, so I am going to say yes to your question.
