a romantic girl, whos fun to be around, and you feel comfortable around.

or

an easy girl, who you only see when you want sex? who you are not emotionally connected with at all.

just wondering as i upset me when my ex boyfriend dumped me because 'i want you to become the second option, and not be the first one. '

a guy friend of mine once told me that he thinks the reason there are bad men is because of bad women. he said he thinks the bad men were actually good at one point in their lives, but became that way because of female rejection. i knew some guys who were really sweet and kind but at that time didnt get any girls, but now they are rude and arent good men, but they get all the women.

A friend is pressuring me to take the train because "it would be good for me", but I live real close to work, I think it would take more time to metro in than driving my car.

I am a single Mother of two, with time restrictions.

The idea that guys should wait for sex in order to show respect, I don't understand it.

I'm sorry but waiting and showing respect in my book are not directly linked ! Either a person is either

a) respectful of others feelings, property, themselves etc
b) a disrespectful person and a cheat.
c) somewhere between (a) and (b)

Surely there are better ways of finding out if someone is respectful or not, this doesn't seem a good test to me. It seems extreamly unreliable and fraught with error.

I presume you women have other ways of deciding whether a guy is worthy of your love or not and you are not too reliant on this waiting rule

Furthermore I'm concerned that women are using this test, and then realising that the guy is a nightmare and then blaming the whole of mankind as a result instead of blaming the tests that they used when they first went out with the guy.

Hope it's not too heavy, but your views please!

Check this out Yahoo. I slept with a co-worker about two weeks ago. I am black and she is white. We slept together and went to work the following Monday and everything was cool, now she is acting all standoffish like she doesn't even want to speak with me. What's going on here.

I have a friend with benefits and sometimes i feel as if he doesnt want to get to know me beyond the sex. this is the same guy that had split personalities one day he is okay and the next he is not. I put him on blast and told him that there is more to me than just sex and that if didnt want to get to know me beyond the sex then he could just hit the road. To make a long story short he has been calling asking about my day for the past two days. I dont know if he really cares or if he is doing this to continue to sleep with me. what do you think?

I got dumped 3 months ago by my ex. We lived together for 3 years. She was pretty ruthless with the breakup although has given very confusing and mixed messages when-ever I see her (ie; such as kissing me a month ago and saying she "loves me" with tears in her eyes), although we never talk now

In the last two weeks I have been at the same work functions as her on at least 3 occassions and she doesn't acknowledge my presence, although I haven't waved/smiled at her either. It seems as though she leaves the event once I am there as well

What is going on in her head - is this hate, guilt, ambivalence? I just dont get why an adult after 3 great years would act like this. The history doesnt go away. I don't buy all this "no contact" stuff; it seems like its just a way of acting like you never gave a damn

we have been together now for almost a year the problem is that he used to love chatting on the net and I started doing it aswell but now we have both stopped, the thing with him is that he wanted to know exactly who I was chatting to and also used to check my emails but I was never aloud to see his chats or even look at his phone so I just mereley had to except the fact that it was all clean chats but how do I do that if he prevents me from checking, to me its like he is hiding something..........but anyways he caught me quite a few times lying about chatting and sending emails and no no its was all clean chats and emails but now he is finding it very hard to trust me and to believe in me because of me lying to him saying was not chatting and also deleting all evidence. So yes he has all right to not trust me , but how do i gain his trust back, i love him so much and want things to work and understand he needs time but are we both in the wrong or just me. I do hope we wil make it

I have this bf who seems to care for me but I keep catching him in little white lies, nothing harmful but still, lies. He has this women who calls every now and then, ok fine I have no problem with a man having female friends, but why does she call at 12 midnight. Well I just have this "gut feeling" something else is going on. Who really believes in completley going with there gut in making final decisions.

I’m going to attempt to nut shell this story. My best friend, Lauren and I have known each other for over 10 years. We are now both 25. A year ago we became closer than we’ve ever been after having gone through similar break ups, graduating college, and finding independency. We clubbed on weekends and would crash at night at either her place or mine. Both of us are successful, attractive and intelligent women, who have fun, but are also very responsible, sensible adults.
One night at my place we ended up fooling around. This went on for a few months and then we both started dating other people. We decided we would go back to “just being friends” but our urge to be together was so strong that if we were ever alone we would end up in bed together. None of us had ever liked girls before, we have always considered ourselves straight, but now realize that we are both probably bi. This went on for another couple of months of random kisses and touches when we could manage them. And this all went on while we were both starting to get serious with our boyfriends. This became so confusing to us we didn’t know what we were going to do about it, how it was going to affect our friendship and our relationships with our boyfriends. We were also both at the stage where settling down would be the next step in our lives. The secret of being in love with each other (“in love” as in lust+friendship love) was getting too much for us to handle as well as the guilt of then pretending with our boyfriends that we were being faithful to them. At one point the guilt consumed Lauren and she said she couldn’t do it anymore, I agreed. So now we are both back to being friends, even though now and then we may talk about it or joke about it. I don’t know how she is feeling about it because we try not to talk about it too much, but I am still haunted with the memories and whenever I hear her voice I want her all over again, but I don’t say anything.
I love my boyfriend and we are planning on getting married. Lauren is on the same boat.
So my question is, was it cheating when Lauren and I were seeing each other when we had boyfriends? And is it cheating now that we still think about it even though we are no longer physical?

I've been going out with a really nice girl for a couple of months and so far we haven't had a single fight about anything. Eventually, I'm sure we will because every couple has a disagreement sometimes but how do you handle it whenever your bf/gf/wife/husband (or whatever) get into a heated arguement?
