Infatuation usually means you and the other person haven't gone out long enough to discover their faults and that you still love the person anyway. Love means that you have been going out for a long period of time, six months or more.

How long have you been dating? If you have actually been with this person long enough to know them well enough to love them, it may be love. If not, I would guess it's infatuation, which I believe over time can turn into love.

Time....time will tell.
Take is slow and get to know one another, and after several months to a year of dating, if you still feel the same...it's love.

If you can honestly answer this yes to these questions it is probably real love and not infatuation.
Is their happiness more important than my happiness?
Am I happy without them?

Colors are brighter, birds sing more sweetly and happiness overwhelms us. This is wonderful news when it happens.
