I love my bf to death, and he's said the same to me. I got to be friends with him at a time when i was very bitter and angry about the world in general (and incredibly shy at that), and I was stupid enough to let him turn me into a romantic again. but since we started college, it's not the same. I'm trying to go out of my way to see him, but sometimes when I do he gets mad and says he needs to work on school and always "we knew it would be like this". Then we always get into some fight. I don't think he appreciates having me around anymore, and i'm just there. I know he still loves me, he just never shows it anymore. On top of all this, my friends think i'm too good for him and i could do better. He's my only friend here, and the only reason I stick around this town is because I love him more than anything. ANYWAY, do you think there's anyway to salvage our relationship? Is it me that needs to change? Or is it just over?

OK.. I have talked to this guy..mark.. On line since Feburary.. we stopped talking for months and I had forgotten about him.. Imoved closer to him. He found out and got in touch with me.. So I like this girl that I work with at a bar. I only work one day a week so I'm hardly there. She is very shy, but I'm always telling her how gorgeous she is, and she always impresses me with what she does in her free time.

Teaching classes working 2 jobs and going to school. A woman that shows that type of motivation is RARE. There are other little details about her I see that I enjoy.

Here is where it got cool. I'm a big goof ball I'm security but I'm always dancing and being stupid trying to get everyones spirits up. For a few weeks I would do this around her, it seemed like she just didn't care or respond. I always had to intiate the conversaition. Now she comes up to me talking, and she did my little dance move I can see her really coming out of her shell.

So Friday she gave me her number and she kind of held my hand for an extra few seconds. But becasuse she was so shy to begin with, I don't know how to tell her, I want to date with hopes that it goes somewhere.

My friend Robin is 45 yrs old. to get over a bad break up and depression she joined american singles dating service. there she met many guys that she has met in person once and 2 guys that she has met numerous times. She has been honest with them all saying that she wants to take any relationship slow starting only as friends and seeing if the relationship can build into something more and that she is seeing other men. I am kinda dating my boss who i think has a girlfriend-he says there is nothing between them but I kinda think there is. We spend all of our time away from work together but he owns the bar/restaurant I work at. Last night he introduced me to one of his friends who works in the restaurant business and this is what he said to her "You know how a restaurant works right and she gave him a weird look and he said ok this is *****. I am 17 and a senior in high school. Last week I finally talked to this girl I really like in the library after school. She is the really shy type so she doesn't start conversations at all. We don't even know each other's names but we hit it off pretty good. She started smiling and talking, etc. She doesn't go to the library often because she leaves school at lunch (the same time I do.) She takes the bus home after school so I see her walking through the hallway and she doesn't have much time to talk. My questions are as follows:

-Should I approach her through the hallway as she's leaving or wait for another chance in the library? (She goes like once every 3 weeks.)

-When I do approach her, what should I talk about to get things started?

-Where would be a good place to ask her out to? I don't want anything too strong but something to get the point across. (remember, she's 17 and really really shy. =)

-When would be a good time to ask her out?

Any help would be great.
