Singles & Dating - 21 September 2006

I went out with a guy three times. All three times were great dates, lasted more than 2-3 hours, good conversation, etc. He always called when he said he would.

But after our third date, he said that he would call me or I could call him. I sent him an email on Thursday (a week ago today), and have yet to hear from him. The email said hi, thanks for dinner, how's your week been, talk to you soon.

I didn't sleep with him, didn't even kiss him actually. And he told me after the second date that he wanted to take things slow and see where it goes.

So what happened? I'm trying not to blame myself but I'm wondering if there was something that I could have done differently. Any thoughts?

And no, I haven't contacted him since that email, and I'm not planning to as I believe the ball is in his court.

we (both are 28)have been dating each other for 2 years now. He is a good man, intelligent man. I am sure he is looks oriented,he wants me to be perfect.I am doing my best to come upto his expectation.Its a long distance.I travel to meet him all the time as I miss him and love him.He does not really like if i meet other guy. But he never say he will marry me or anything. He gets angry very easily and feels that I am not good. But later he himself will cool down and talk to me. But when he will be angry, it's a painful time for me. He says many things which I am not.He always feels that I had many bf earlier and I had sex with all of them. I have never done such things in my life.I have told him about it all the time. I am not sure if he trust that. I can do anything to prove that, have no idea if I can do that.For every hot conversation he says I always do mistakes, and he cant tolerate me. He had many gf in his life.He takes care of me when in good mood.But 4 small mistakes he scolds.

I am 35, mother of two teen sons, dating a man for the last 5 months....he is 50 who was in a 12 year relationship (broke up 6 years ago) never married and no children....my sons like him...I like him...and he 'seems' to like me and my sons...he calls me almost daily...we cut out time for each other almost every weekend and in the mid week too...including my sons(but not every weekend)....but he never tells me he likes or loves or cares or what about me....is he just one who shows affection and believes we 'know' how he feels...or what?...how can I ask him how he feels about me without sounding like a typical nagging female?

I like two guys at once. One of them had lead me on for a long time. He played me and was always mean to me. There is this other guy who is nice, sweet and funny. I know that I should go for the sweet one but the other one has been there for a really long time. Which one should I choose? Should I choose the sweet guy or the other guy. My sister & her bf have been together for 1 yr & live together. Her bf works a night shift with his ex gf's mom, my sister works a day shift somewhere else, & his ex gf works an afternoon shift at the factory beside where he works.

Her bf still talks 2 his ex gf's mom all the time, buys her coffee at work & is really friendly with her even though he doesn't date her daughter anymore. His ex gf's father passed away about a couple of weeks ago & his ex & her mom r both on compassionate leave.

My sister said that today her bf went away, so he wasn't at home when there was a phone call at noon from his ex gf's brothers phone # (by the way her bf would b sleeping). Her bf doesn't know his ex's brother, so she is wondering if his ex is calling him from her brothers house & if he is cheating on her or wants 2 get back with his ex again OR if it is the mom calling 4 something. She said that they haven't had a sex life for 3 months & everytime they try he goes limp. What do u think?

Recently met a guy who seems to be nice, but it has become clear that he's not my type. He's ten years younger than me (he's 35), but acts even younger than that. I went out with this girl and she took me to her house. In her bedroom she had a poster of Lorena Bobbitt, and at the bottom of the poster was the word "HERO." Now, while I agree that asshole deserved what he got for cheating, what in the hell would convince a girl to glorify Lorena Bobbitt on a first date, and then leave 7 nasty messages on my answering machine because I left and refused a second date?
