This is an issue of self-respect. There is only one reason you would feel compelled to tell a guy anything that intimate about previous relationships and that is to gain his approval. Any man who is worth your time and energy, would have the respect to not ask such a blatant and personal question even after you have become very close. Good men, in fact, do not respect a woman who has to stoop down to gain approval. Remember, you set the bar of your self-worth and you will 'catch' the kind of man depending on the bait you use. If that has to be your sexual history, you should keep on fishing for a better one.

If someone is asking, they need to be prepared to hear an honest answer. That being said - it will come back to haunt you...never fails. Keep the past in the past unless there is something he needs to know for health reasons. Then be completely honest while reassuring him it is in the past and he is right in front of you - where you want him!

Well, there have been times when me and a guy were real close and we both shared secrets, but there is no one out there who knows everything about me, except God of corse. But i've learn its best not to ask then you won't have to tell or lie. Its more like you don't ask and don't tell they won't ask or tell.

Most guys want to know for competition purposes. I used to let guys know, but not any more because they only throw it in your face at a later date.

if they don't want to know don't ask..so if you're going to ask I'm going to tell weather you like the answer or not....why hide things you have done. You did them for a reason and should be okay with whatever it was that you did....

I told my guy probebly more than I needed to but part of that was because he was one of if not my closest friend and i talked to hime about everything including relaationships past and present. when it came to him there were some things he had told me when we were just friends and other than that he told me what I asked him about.
