show off in front of the girls they like. like usually i like a guy and i can tell they show interest back, and they always have to act super loud, "fun" or "talented" when im around (or just guys around girls they like in general). why cant they just act normal?

Boys are different , they like to show off because they are shy and dont know how to act . But some guys act like that . Not all of them.

I think and this is just an opinion, But I think it may be because they are shy and they are happy that you gave them attention and that is probley the main reason..Also; It is / or might be because they also; like you but don't have a clue as how to talk to you catch them alone and NOT in front of their friends and see the difference Shhhh... just show him how to talk to you give him confiddence and, let him know it is ok to talk to you and that it is between you and, him for now ..hope this helps .

well not to long ago my brother in-law got dumped because he kept being a show off in front of her & all the other girls he had dated dumped him for the same reason. the last girl asked me before she dumped him (why does he have to be such a show off when he is around people all the time when iam with him). i told her the truth about him & he has never learned how to act his age & it came from his up bringing, his parents didn't teach him from right & wrong on how to behave around people because they don't know how to either to this very day.

This is not all guys......the ones that do that are "boys" and strutting around only shows their insecurities.

cause if they show off, it gets your attention, sometimes the way they want it, sometimes not the way they want it, too bad they just could not go up to you and say hey you I like you, wanna date? So much easier then looking like a retard most of the time!

Because guys just have to act like a mating peacock!! They have to show off so you'll pick them! They can't act normal because their hormones are raging!!! It drives them to do crazy stuff!! They can't help it....

Look at animals in the wild...they do dances to attract their mates...they fight the other males for that 'choice' mate....humans are animals too....just some were not born with brains....
