The age old desire to pit man against woman is sadly prevelent in our society. Why not turn the tables a bit.

Men & Women, say something nice about the opposite sex. If for nothing else, for two free points. The best answer will be chosen in a couple of days.

Make me proud!

Here's my contribution:
Men are sexy and strong. I love their honesty and bluntness. Real men are HOT! They don't have to look like mag cover material to be sexy. Real men who love their wifes and mothers, grow their daughters, sisters, brothers, and who spend quality time with their sons are... Well, you get the point... SEXY!

Thanks for contributing!

and as a loving parent would not like to see him corrupted by one of those evil ladies.

I know as a 20 year old blonde blue eyed 6ft 3 lad they will ply him with alcohol and try and take advantage of him.

I am willing to sacrifice myself just to protect him..

I wont tell my wife as she will only worry about him and now he can keep her company instead..

For my entire life I have been in dramatic relationships...A year ago as hard as it was I decided to get out of it and concentrate on finding "the one" being caring, trustworthy, romantic, loyal, and all in all a good person. Well, I found him about 4 months ago, he is my neighbour who I had interest in for quite some time. I fell head over heels for him and from then on we have been inceperable.

For the first time in my life I feel as though I can trust someone. I dont even get jealous when I think about him talking to other girls (Is that normal?)

Our relationship has come to a plateau and although I love spending time with him it is not as exciting and drama filled.....Is this what a healthy/normal relationship is supposed to be like?

I feel something is wrong with my love for him cause I am not jealous of him in the least which is very odd for me. I know that I have his heart :) Are relationships such as this "boring" at times because they are not drama filled?

My friend hates her name. Her name is Simone and half the people who meet her cant even pronounce it because they are culturely challenged. Its a french female name but people always confuse it with the male name Simon leaving her gender disturbed. She went through each first day of school since preschool with everyone expecting a boy named Simon during roll call. Nicknames or helpful hints would be much appreciated but please nothing odd or irrelevant like cookie cake or something other.

A couple years ago, I was abused by my parents but I am the type of person that doesn't take anything from anyone so when the start getting forceful and punching, hitting, pushing, and kicking me, I tried to get them off of me and fight back, Is this still considered abuse? Also, last month my brother came after me and I locked myself in my room and he came in and was pushing me really hard onto the ground numerous amounts of time, one of these times he pushed me and a glass fell over and shattered on the hard wood floors and I sliced my knee open and needed stitches and right after that, I was pushed and I fell and broke my finger which shattered the bones. Is this situation still abuse even though I pushed him off of me and was trying to hurt him back? I called the cops after the fight with my brother. Was I out of line for doing so? I NEED ANSWERS.

My husband & I spilt April 2006. He found another woman straight away, moved in and she got pregnant aparently as an accident but wouldnt get rid of it. He has nagged since July for me to have him back to try again but at the time I was hurting and couldnt do it. Since October I have changed my mind as we have a child and thought I could try to see if we can work even with all this extra heart ache. But now he is not so sure and seems to like to spend time with me and then go back off to her. I love him and he tells me he is in love with me and that he only cares for this other woman. Is he just having a laugh? Should I tell him to get lost and get my life back on track? Im so confused and and very hurt I dont know what to do. Can someone give me some advise please????

Sincerely guys, how do you feel about dating a woman with children, would it make you think twice before asking the person out? before starting a relationship and commiting to the woman?
does it turn you off? And what would be your eventual feelings for the child?

how old are you?

And you single mothers how is to date? does it make it more difficult?

Thanks

It's coming soon. Why wait until the day before? Share your ideas here on how you can treat the one you love or even someone you've been admiring from afar. Ideas be small gestures to the grand and extravagant.

I'd like to do something nice for my partner every day. It can range from the smallest of gestures to most extravagant of experiences or gifts. I may not be able to do or give them all now but some day I might be able to. You may have done something that was nice or special in some way in the past and I'd love the hear about it. I'll be adding all good ideas for my website www.ilovemondays.net and sharing with as many people as I can. Make 2007 a year to really show your partner, friends and family you love them.

For example one idea I was given was to keep a diary for 100 days (number of days is not important) and record something nice about your partner each day. This is the only thing you should right about. Then give this to your partner out of the blue. it doesn't have to be valentines day or a birthday. I think it would be more special to give it on an ordinary day out of the blue...

My darling dog has been so important in my life. Her sweet ways, all the love she has to give and how she makes me laugh. I would like her to know just how loved and appreciated she is and how important she is to me. How can I make sure she knows this?

I'm looking for serious answers here. Nothing along the lines of "duh" or "of course".
I'm just wondering, because I haven't been able to find a woman who thinks that it's important for a man to live his life with integrity. Most women that I know think that it's great when a man is unfaithful, lazy, bullying, and dishonest in general. They view him as being a "bad boy" who has "edge" and is a "challenge".

On the other hand, a man who is confident, mentally and physically healthy, a community leader, intelligent, romantic, honest, and would be a devoted husband and father, is seen as "boring" and "too nice".

Why is this? Do these women have low self-esteem and think that they don't deserve better . . . or, do men of integrity have to start being losers in order for women to appreciate them?

I look forward to your intelligent and well-thought-out answers.

I know this is not the place to ask but I'm at my wit's end!! I love my man to pieces and he's made me so happy in the long time that we've been together, but lately he's been cancelling on me, not bothering to call me etc. It's fine when we're spending time together but when we're apart it's as if he forgets about me. I know how he feels about me and I know that he's not cheating on me, so I just feel like he's taking me for granted. I've spoken to him today after he's cancelled on me again and said I want to speak to him tomorrow. He said he's scared that I'm going to break up with him. I don't want to lose him but can't face feeling like this. I've spoken to him so many times about it and he always says he'll change, but soon goes back to normal. I'm torn between breaking up with him and giving him one last chance. Is it worth giving him an ultimatum? I know I sound demanding but that's not how it is at all, I just want a balanced relationship!

Once you are involved in a secure relationship...eg, you know you that each other are staying. You trust the other person, you respect the other person and you live together. Does the spark usually disappear once you are in this comfortable stage together?

Honestly, cause I find myself very comfortable and at ease with my bf...thanks so much :)

2006-12-30 00:48:06 · 6 answers · asked by dawson190154 1

I have been dating my bf for 6 months. The first 6 mths were incredible. We just clicked and I have never had so much fun with ANYONE. About a month ago I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and I woke up one mornin wondering if I had fallen out of love with him? Well, the situation has gotten better since a month ago. I am now attracted to him again and feel comfortable around him.

The problem is is that those same feelings I had a month ago are not there anymore. I find it very hard to express my romantic feelings to him. I feel as though, I know I have his heart (I know he loves me) so he doesnt have to impress me anymore. All in all I find it difficult to respond when he sends me very romantic emails, notes etc...

I still love to do nice things for him eg. buy him stuff when I go shopping, make him dinner, clean the house etc....

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be going on?

We are leaving in 2 hrs for New Years...Cottage on the lake :)

Thanks!!
