i like some of them. but his fathers side of the family, plain and simple...i can't stand these people! i just had a baby. so i think it makes my situation pretty crappy. i can't just avoid them, i have to let them see him. i hate these people with a passion! i dont know why, well, i do to an extent, but ya know....that HATE that you could just slap everyone with! lol. i know when i married my husband, i married his family too. but it seems like they just get worse and worse everyday. i dont remember them being like this when we met. but with x-mas here, i am so depressed. i normally LOVE xmas. but this year, i feel so sick! i dont ever want to see them again, and i dont want my son to know who they are. pretty bad huh? and it makes me even sicker to know i'll have to deal with this for the rest of my life! do you feel like this with your inlaws? what have you done to resolve it? anything?!? (please dont be rude with your answers, i'm very serious, stressed, and desparate)

my husband is mommies boy which he denies but it is only obvious. she has done so much things to try to ruin us is ridiculous but now she went to far. my husband has a sister too and she has a child and so do we but since my mother n law doesnt like me she treats my daughter unfair too at first i didnt really want to see it that way, i would say "oh no she would do this to her sons daughter" but sure enough she does. like xmas she sends my daughter maybe 2 gifts or 3 and then sends her daughters childs hand me downs (which i appreciate it) then shell brag and how much stuff she bought my husbands sister daughter. when i try to confront her about the situation she uses an excuse of saying that we live to far and my husband doesnt think it is wrong. am i being selfish or is this just aint right that my daughter gets cheated just because she doesnt approve of me?

my boyfriend of nearly three years had a girls number in his phone and her scarf. it was his friend from years ago. when i questioned him about it, he made up this big story to cover up then a few months later i found out he was lying. he said that he has never cheated on me, that he couldnt do it to me. when i asked him about it he said he cant remember how he got her number, it was so long ago (which it was)he said he lied because he was scared of my reaction, because i am quite strict with him. the reason why i cant believe him is because he has never been clear on his answers and always says i dont know to every question i ask. he also doesnt know how to express any problems, he keeps everything to himself and hates to talk about anything. he has lied to me about quite a few things and i just feel like i cant trust him any more. i never drop it and it is always causing arguments because i cant let it go. do you think he has cheated or am i being paranoid because i cant trust him?

Feeling charitable, I brought a new girlfriend and her 3 daughters home from a shelter to live with me. A month afterward, I realized the responsibility (and her "habits") to be far too overwhelming on me. She was "absent" for Thanksgiving, and I packed her things and ordered her out. She had called yelling, and I nearly had a stress heartattack from her actions...so I called the cops. We talked through that, and she went back in the shelter (soon to have her own place). Should I keep my faith that things will get better? Or, is it just time to call it quits?

The guy who I fell in love with two years ago started going out with my friend.
Two years ago, he never stopped teasing me playfully. Well, I hated him then until the day my friend hosted a party. She hosted the party at an ice skating rink. Unfortunately for me, I never ice skated before. My friends convinced me to actually ice skate (instead of watching them on the benches). I kept on falling continuously. The guy (who I thought liked me) saw that I was struggling and he asked me if I needed any help. I was surprised, for I thought he was a person with no life at all. He guided me and taught me the skills to ice skate well.
To this day, I can't stop picturing him- holding my hand tightly, guiding me with his smile at the ice skating rink.
I am so surprised when I heard that he started dating someone. Worst of all, he dated my friend who knew I liked him. I think my friend did feel guilty, since she stopped talking to me. What should I do? Should I just forget about him?

he's from paris and i'm stuck here in malaysia and after we parted, we stayed connected as best as we could for almost 6 months of being away from ecah other. he sent me a letter and told me to forget him and that we should stop the relatinship. does this mean that he has found someone new and i still hope for hope so how can i make us work again?

E.g. Would you cover up it's death by buying her another one or would you tell her the truth. It's nearly Christmas, which only makes thing worse , if you see what I mean.

I am a young mother (22 yrs old) I have a 3 1/2 yr old and a 16 month old. I am the 2nd oldest of 6 kids in my family. Mother divored my dad about 4 yrs ago (right after I married and moved out) She has three remaining kids living in the house ages 10, 12, and 15. I am CONSTANTLY taking care of them. I have at least one of the minimum EVERY WEEKEND. I usually have all three of them 1 weekend a month (father is not involved) I also take care of them whenever they are out of school on holidays including summer. I do this out of the kindness of my heart because I know it took alot of courage for her to divorce my abusive father and raise these kids alone. I only ask for help by her with my kids rarely. (Like once a year) I just asked her tonight if she would be willing to take my 2 kids over night (at HER CONVIENCE) so that I could plan a special night for me and my husband sometime in the next month. She said she's to busy/tired. I find this very hurtful after all I do to help

it doesnt make sense to me. my dad tells me she just wants me to turn out to be a wonderful mother, but she's ALWAYS yelling it seems like...except when she's not home. when you yell at your kids, do you think it really makes them think you love them? i know she loves me, but why cant she just ask me...not command or 'nicely' (if you know what i mean) threat? i know im not the only child going through this. why why why?

I just broke up with my boyfriend of 9 months yeterday for this other boy I was feelin' for like a month. But right now I miss him like crazy...I want to talk to him but I'm afraid of how he might react to me..I still love him. My partner and i are on the rocks because of my foster family he thinks i dont love him but i do with all my heart, He asked why i dont stick up for him when my foster family call's him and i dient know what to say he keeps telling me that they are not my familiy so i should walk away because they keep hurting me but i cant i love them he dosent understand this what can i do to make him know i love him and it isent his fault i am deppressed it's there's? I am considering either going to the justice of the peace or having a small wedding... I have been with my fiance for 9 years and we have a son together. My Mom says it would be stupid to have a wedding... and that we should just go do the paperwork. She says people will think a wedding this late in the game, with a baby is foolish. Hey my friend has parents that hurt her every single day. They sometimes even leave scars on her face. she loves her parents and she called the police on them before and so has her sister. shes had two strikes (mom). If she calls again, it would be her third strike and they would have to be put in foster care. dont give me useless answers and say just call the police, cus she loves her parents
