I was driving home from work and I realized that some of us who can be labelled "good citizen" because we're not in jail do break some rules in a regular basis while driving or god knows where but we just dont get caught. how many of those rules have you broken today?

me and my partner of 3 years have moved to australia and are loving it,we are going to spend christmas in newzealand with his family and i am totally dreading it,all they do is drink!! day and night,they can sumtimes last fr up to 3 days in a row,i dont mind having a drink one or 2 nights im there but am not into big drinking binges.we are going for two weeks,i no that if i say no they are going to think im a snob and will outright talk about me (i no they dont like me anyway for taking their son away from them) i dont have any family there that i can go to and i do not have enough money to stay sumshere else which i wouldnt do anyway coz i know theyd think i was being a huge snob. what do i do??i cant talk to my partner about this because hes just going to love the drinking!! I cant explain how much this person is into his job. He's in law enforcement & a lot more intailed than being a street cop. Hes federal & has actually had a bomb blow up on him ( bomb squad ) . He guards VIPS all over the world & when the phone rings he HAS to go. He really needs to be focused when working & he tells me that I very easily distract him. He has also made mention to changing to another form of LE. Do you think that he may be worried that something will happen to him & he doesnt want to leave someone behind? Maybe he's worried that I will leave him as she did 10 yrs ago? I try vey hard to reinforce the fact that I totally understand what his work means to him & Ive been here all these years- Im NOT going anywhere. But,honestly I think that he is worried about that.Not that I dont want women to answer, but I think that men can understand where he is coming from more than we can&can give me a mans insight. I appreciate everyones input.Thank You. This is a REAL struggle4me

Ok here is goes my friend went to see her ex the other night and said she couldn't stand it anymore she was moving back he said I don't want you back here. He then rolled over and cuddled her close to him for about 15mins and she said "didn't you say I should go away and do the police force thing or go overseas for a bit then decide if I want to be here with you then she said does that still stand and he said yes! She has since had a job offer for work over there for about a month or so! and she has talked to a person that knows him really well and this person and her ex's mother have both said she should go away and then come back!! my ex fiance and I broke up in june after being together 2 years, he has two little girls 5 and 8 who became very attached to me as well as me to them, their mom likes me alot, she has full custody but while we were together the girls spend alot of time with us.

My ex swore if we ever ended he would never keep me from them, because i am like a second mom to them.

Since we broke up in June, he has become very bitter with me, he told the girls mom, who live 100 miles away that he did not want me to call or be around the girls again, they had a huge arguement over this, she told him she had custody and the girls loved me and insisted on calling me everytime they come to town.
They called me Wed. before thanksgiving to let me know they will be in town their mom says they want to see me, they were here for 5 days and he told them every time they asked "NO" they could not see me, I do not talk to him, and don't want to, I feel so sad for the girls, do i ignore the girls, or him

this is it, i have to wait for these 9 weeks to be over and after that I can go back to my homeland, and i don't have to be in this resentful circumstance anymore, it's on the winter vacation i can go. I think it's a very long time and bcause I'm still 14, i always feel down everytime I remember I've to wait for another 9 weeks until i can be free from this hateful place and surroundings...so i just wanna know what do you think about this and how to at least make time seems shorter so that i shan't feel too depressed like this.. i always feel i can't bear anymore... and like anytime i can explode. no one can help me here, I'm the only student from my country and my fam isn't here, i'm not part of them, so don't tell me to socialize with them. they dont need me.

My little 15 year old sister ran away from home last night, due to some fight with our Mum. She doesnt pick up her mobile by we arent all that worried since i know shes been on Yahoo Answers. I don't know what else to get this man for Christmas. He plays bass guitar so I got him a miniature crystal guitar on a stand. He has money to buy clothes. I want to get him another gift. Sounds like my mother except mine doesnt drink.

Well I can tell you love her regardless but you have to understand what you have withh your mother is what I was told is a TOXIC realationship and it wasn't health and I was told to just to cut her off no more contact. But I didnt listen. So really it would be up to you is this behavor you can handle if so just learn to laugh it off. Thats what I did I dont let her get to me anymore and I happier so try it be happy and learn to block out when she acts like that.
Thats just the way they are .
Just like Love is unconditional for children well even for parents love is unconditional. I love my mother even though shes ruins my life time and time again and put me through hell and back. But yet I still love her. I try to think maybe in her own way that how she expresses her emotions because maybe she doesnt know how to show feelings.

I have never been close to my parents as my mother had a lot of mental problems and my father was and is emotionally and mentally abusive. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 1/2 years and I am now pregnant. I have been hurt in the past by both of my parents either leaving me or just being emotionally unavailable and I am scared to death that my boyfriend will leave me. I have always had this fear in the back of my mind but now that I'm pregnant it seems to be more prevalent. How can I get over this fear that he will leave me. I've talked to him and he assures me that he loves me and wants to be with me but I keep thinking that he'll eventually leave. He gets irritated with me but is overall pretty patient with me and my fears. When I bring up the fear of rejection/abandonment issues he says it's just an excuse and a cop-out to not deal with things. I really do want to trust him completely & believe that he'll be there but I don't know how to get past the fear. Any suggestions?

I will be turning 14 in January and my dad isn't going to let me get a job and I really need one. I have tried talking, asking, and explaining to him. He won't listen and won't tell me why he doesn't want me to get a job. I am totally out of ideas on what to do. I can legally get a job at 14. I would be putting like 50% of what I make for collage. Its not like my dad would have to drive me or anything I would ride my bike there. I am really responsible and I would think he would be happy that I don't want to sit on my but all year. Any suggestions would help.Also Do you know of any places that arn't fast food that would hire a 14 year old?
