My boyfriend and I have known each other for 2 years, we met online and then we got to talk on the phone a few times. I made sure he was a legit guy and then his mom brought him up here to meet me. He only lives 5 hours away, but I am in Missouri and he is in Illinois. We are really in love! (Don't base that on just what I told you, you don't know the full story and I'm not asking you to comment on my life.)

What do you think of long distant relationships? Have you ever had one? Do you think they last?

(I am not asking this because I am uncertain, I'm just curious.)

I am very disappointed now since my roomate who has been a wonderful friend of mine for two years ran off and got married.
My roomate is the sister of my brother's fience. A week ago my roomate took off with her boyfriend who she only knew for a month. My brother's fience and I waited and waited for the roomate to come back home but she had not come home after 12 hours. We left her voice messages and then later after 12 hours she finally called and told us that she was on her way to get married.

Her sister and I cried the whole night. We thought, 'how can she be so mean and do this to us. we told her not to date that guy because we knew he was not a good guy. ' Not only that if something was wrong with her she should at least came to me or to her sister and tell us. But no, she left and got married.

The reason why she took off was because she was preganet with the boyfriend's kid. how stupid!

Should I be mad? Hrmm...

I was with this one girl yesterday, who I have loved since I firsted layed eyes on her, and she first forced herself to like me, and then she broke up with me, but it didn't end well....
Anyways, I have stood with her through thick and through thin, and she told me 2 nights ago how she truly felt about me. She said that she really likes me. Unfortunately, she has a boyfriend... Before she told me how she felt, she asked me who I liked, and I told her that I didn't like anybody at the moment (but I still loved her, even though I told everyone that I didn't like her for my own security. The only way that I would go through with telling people how I truly felt about her is if the love that I felt for her was returned.) I have always been a fairly happy person but for about the past year I have been in a downward spiral. I am unhappy with every aspect of my life. My work, my living arangments, my money situation, my relationship, even my family is putting extra stress on me (through no fault of thier own). I have tried everything i know to do to make it better. When I feel like this I can usually work thru it on my own but the more I try the worse it gets. Every one says if it is that bad then it can only get better but they are wrong. When I think I am as low as I can go I only go lower. I am below rock bottom.

I would never take my own life but sometimes (most of the time now) I wish my time would be up just so I didn't have to feel this way any more.

Im in quick sand. Help me please.

she has stopped because i have stopped buying them for her because i don't agree with the whole thing. the reason she has stopped buying for me however, is because she is not getting anything in return. does this seem a liitle bit selfish of her . if she didnt want to buy a present she should have stopped doing so a long time ago, surley? or am i being petty?

Saddam...he's been sentenced to hang....how should they do it...publicly or privately...either way i personally dont care because i say yes hang the bastard anyway....whats your opinion...the government oppose against hanging, but the majority of the public say yes...get rid of him...i know this is in the f&r category but this is the only place i like to post because everyone is straight and direct with their opinions...should he hang?

I used to work for a major dept. store, and when I go in to shop, the people from my dept. ask me nosey questions. So now when I go in, I wanna tell them what I think of them. I never tell them anything about them, because they're all into gossip.

right my mother is how u say incredibly shallow and a control FREAK, just recently i stared seeing a guy from college who is lets say on the big side, hes lovely thou and v respectful, if a little clingy. I have been divorced for three years now and havent been involved with anyone since. I have been seeing someone for about 4 months now. I have 2 teenagers and they dont like the idea of me dating someone. It has been just me & them for about 5 years now. How do I get them to understand that I am ready to move on with my life, but that they will always be first in my life? I dont want to be alone for the rest of my life, but I want them to know that they are still very important to me.

To go to my house and pick him up. I didn't know what else to do. He tries to skip school almost every day. And I finally had to go to work, so I got to work, picked up my phone, and called the school. I told them what is going on. I am a single mom and I already have my hands full. It is about a million times harder when I constantly have to beg my kid to do homework, get up in the morning, go to bed on time, etc.
But I still feel guilty. I keep thinking about him being hauled to school by the police and it makes me sad. Did I do the right thing?

my coworker goes on and on about how she doesnt like the supervisor and how bad she treats her and im like ok enough is enough so i stay quiet most of the time when she comes in. i dont want to hear negative stuff all day. she feels that the boss wants to be her so bad that she will fake being polite, blah, blah, blah. then she talks about her failing marriage and beats that to the bone. im tired of talking about negative stuff, alot of times i feel like she likes to keep stuff going. now she seems to think she is better than some people. when im quiet she thinks i have an attitude. i just want to come to work and do my job. i dont care about what everyone else is doing.

About 4 months ago my sister snogged my guy mate and for about a month they would see each other on a friday night and have a snog and thats all that ever happened. Then he said to her that she was to young for him and that it would never go any further. But then it turned out the real reason why he finished it was because he had feelings for me and I won't deny it I had feelings for him but this was even before my sister kissed him.
