Bigger question: Do dreams really EVER mean anything, or are they just the brain's way of trying to make sense out of random electro-chemical reactions between synapses?

It seems that you are still attached to him and this dream is a way of your mind finding a way to keep him. Its so cliche, for girls to think that if they get preg, than they will keep the man they are loosing. You just miss him. But I wouldn't look too much into it.

dreams are subconscious thoughts, they do not generally mean what you are dreaming.
it could mean that you want to have a child with someone like your ex in your future. or you miss his familiarity.
