My sisters, who are younger than me by 2 and 4 years, always bother me. They make fun of me, read my diary, take my stuff, everything. And they always try to beat me. And sadly, they usually succeed. I've told my mom how I feel, but she doesn't seem to care at all

My husband lost his mother three years ago and his father has since remarried. My father in law (FIL) and his new wife (NW) have been cleaning out personal items from the house that belonged to my former mother in law (MIL) . Each time we see my FIL he has a box of items that he has cleared to give to my husband. Some are priceless; old scrapbooks, letters and photos, but many are gifts that we had given to my MIL. We have felt odd each time, but can understand why the NW might not want these items in her house. Unfortunately, we don't want them either, they were specific gifts to my MIL that suited her tastes and collections, but not ours.

Recently my FIL has started to return gifts to us that we purchased for HIM. Apparantly his NW doesn't like the items and asked him to get rid of them. My husband and I feel insulted and hurt. A few of the items were gifted to him last year.

Is it acceptable to ask my FIL to stop, or is he right in returning the items to us?

Hello, My brother was given up for adoption at birth... He looked for a few years and gave up finding his birth mother... well I looked for a couple of weeks and upon finding her I was told "she gave him up over 30 years ago and does not want to look back" The birth mother will not share ANY information with him... including the name of his birth father... (listed unknown) Why would someone act like this? I did not contact her to bother her... or have my brother be part of her life... medical information is a good thing and why not share it... I personally feel he has the right.

i am only 16, but i honestly believe with all of my heart that i have found my sould mate. My fiancee Joseph, he's 19, but he truely is the LOVE OF MY LIFE!!!! He treats me VERY well. When i am sick, he takes such good care of me...fixes me supper, drinks, help me to the bathroom...everything. He is always telling me how much he loves me and how much i mean to him. It's been 4 months now since the engagement and it is still great. I reached Level 5 last night and I feel good about it but I have been pondering some things. I gave up TV awhile ago and I gained so much more time. Then, I became addicted to Yahoo! Answers and all of my extra time was taken away. Maybe not addiction, but a procrastination tool which kept me away from the important things. Now, I am thinking, I need to take a long break or quit entirely and experience life to the fullest instead of sitting in front of a computer screen answering questions. There is a world outside of the computer screen. People to see, work to be done, goals and dreams to be achieved, books to be written, and empires to build. So, what I am trying to say is, how does somebody get the motivation to continually answer and ask questions on a regular or daily basis and not get burnt out and/or not feel life is passing them by? How does one have the endurance to get to Level 6, and the holy grail of level 7 and continue on with no prize or end in sight?
