And who pays for the baptism the parents or godparents

what exactly do you need help planning? the celebration or the actual baptism..If the baptism you can ask the church pastor on what's needed, if celebration you can do whatever. For example I had a cookout in my backyard with immediate family members and really good friends. The godparents are suppose to buy what is needed but there's nothing saying the parent can't. Also in my religion (catholic) it's customary for the godparents to dress the child in their baptismal clothing. Hopes this helps.

If you're attending a church ask the minister.
I don't think they charge for this.
