She was going there with her bf, but told my man he should go too. I was not there, but supposedely she said he could bring his ol' lady? Now I am not too comfortable with him hanging out around her. Am I overracting because I am not comfortable with that?

If you can...I know it may be difficult to talk about...tell me how old you are and the latest situation you witnessed. What did you do? How did you feel?
If this happened in your family as a child. How are you doing now and what affects if any have noticed in retrospect?
This is the second question I have asked in regards to abuse. It happened personally in my life and as a Nurse I have recently had a patient who was a victim of this violent behavior. It has been weighing on me to ask questions. Thank you for your time!!

Should a person sacrifice their kids for true love or not? And why I say sacrifice is because to be with my true love I would be 500 miles away. Or my kid would be 500 miles away from her dad. He says I don't really love him but I do but I love my child also. So I didn't go and now he says he is going to find someone else.

I am white american, I married my wife two years ago and now we have a baby. She is chinese american. Here family drives me crazy. While they are all nice people they are constantly dropping off their kids at our house without notice. They raise their kids a particular way and I don't raise my kids this way and they are very judgmental towards me for this. They get mad when I don't celebrate their holiday's and don't want to partake in their customs. I'm sorry but I didn't marry her so that I can become Chinese. I married her because she is a wonderful person. They have a family thing 3 times a week and don't want to go. They put guilt trips on my wife and she feels obliged to always do stuff for them. IT is too much ans she is alwasy exausted. We have been fighting becuase of this as well. Any advice. It's really bad and I want to escape!!!

My man is getting on my nerves. Like a lot of men, he seems to keep making the same mistakes over and over again; mainly turning up late, not calling, calling me BABE (oh how I dislike that word). It's been a while since I've seen him too - he makes minimal effort in this relationship and I'm the bad guy when I complain...I'm too young for this kind of stress.

This is a long story, but I'll try to make it short. My dad had surgery about a week ago, and didn't tell me until a few days after it happened. I talked to my brother and sister that same day, and they didn't know about it either. It wasn't anything serious, but Daddy is not so young anymore ~ even non-serious medical problems can turn into something more serious. Here's our problem: when our mom was alive, she was the one who kept us informed about everything. Daddy's sweet, but he's forgetful and not the greatest communicator on the planet. I talked to him 3 days before the surgery and he didn't say anything about it! Should we be upset that our step-mom didn't take up the responsibility of keeping us informed? Keep in mind, she told her sons about the surgery but said nothing to the 3 of us. I'm just afraid that something terrible could happen to my dad and I wouldn't find out for a week. Any thoughts or suggestions?

...to 3 states away because he got a job? If you were in school but could go to school there. If you weren't engaged or had any knowledge of how they felt about your future together. The bf/gf would like to have a long distance relationship but you had put doubts in their mind that it would never work. And if they decided that they were going with or without you.

*I'm in this situation. I told him that he's only 23 and has the rest of his life to work. He said he's doing it now and not waiting any longer.

I cried when my baby was born
I cried at various close relatives passing away
I even get a bit tearful at the odd slushy film
But was totally cold when my wife told me her marriage was over because she'd had an affair and wanted to be him?
