If you can...I know it may be difficult to talk about...tell me how old you are and the latest situation you witnessed. What did you do? How did you feel?
If this happened in your family as a child. How are you doing now and what affects if any have noticed in retrospect?
This is the second question I have asked in regards to abuse. It happened personally in my life and as a Nurse I have recently had a patient who was a victim of this violent behavior. It has been weighing on me to ask questions. Thank you for your time!!

Yes, but I am reluctant to talk about it.
It was a long time ago and I made sure tht my kids did not go through the same thing. You have the tendency to repeat the same mistakes and it takes a conscious effort not to do so and to find out the right way to handle certain situations. It is like a student teaching a student.
