So I'm in this situation where I have to figure out whether or not to move on or not. There was this guy that I was seeing, and right now we're just playing the friend game, but there is a possibility of us getting into a relationship once he has his "ducks in a line". But I've also met a guy recently who I connect with as well. And it seems like I could have a good relationship with him if I give him the chance. My question is what do you do when you're torn like this? Do I go out with guy #2 and probably miss my chance of dating guy #1 ever again, but there's a chance I could be really happy with 2, or do I wait for guy #1 to get his ducks in order and just be single for awhile?

I tried the courts and they wont get off their asses,I have hung up posters with his face and amount owed . I have an attachment for nonpayment on him and the state dont care so the fact that I aint on welfare and dont owe them anything they arent really trying to help find him.

his response is that they have done this all his life, he is 46 yrs. old, has 2 other brothers who do not get same "treatment" coming and going, he is the eldest of 6, "real mammas boy", thing is, she knows I don't appreciate getting "sloppy seconds" so she looks AT ME when she does this to see/get my reaction.
We have been together for 20+ years (married for 11), and when things are like really good between us, he will turn to give his cheek, but she is very needy and dependent on their relationship, he knows I think this is very disrespectful to me,not to mention gross/perverted to me, come on he is 46 yrs. old...how many of you guys (out of elementary school) out there bust slobs with your mommy? Am I wrong? Being unjust? eewwww...jsut thinkning about it grosses me out...what can I do? and dont tell me to deal with it, not without alot of dust being kicked up!

I'm wondering how other black women feel about black guys who ONLY or majorially date white women? I'm also hoping that black men will read this and understand that it's not that we are trying to take away your right to date whomever you want, it's about how we as black women feel when you "prefer" white women over your own. My particular issue with it is this: Black women carry the brunt of the oppression black people have dealt with for years. We try to love angry black men who can't catch a break and therefore are pitiful or abusive and can't provide for their families, we try to raise children in the face of adversity, we end up raising those children alone for the same reason above, and we try to keep our sanity and find happiness anywhere we can only to have black men say "all black women are *itches and white women are easier". Not all of us *itches! I think it's a huge issue of self hate. White is thought to be better so to be better themselves they get a white woman.

it's just a casual party, a get together. my bf is finally invited even tho we've been dating for almost two years. i told him to just be himself but to not be so crazy. i want him to be himself but to tone down a bit. i don't really care if they don't love him, but i want them to like him. the question is, how do i get my friends to accept him?

I have morals and want to to wait until i'm married to have sex if I can. My boyfriend doesn't respect my morals and says it's dumb and is always pressuring me to have sex. Now it's all he talks about and when we're together his focus is to try and mess with me to get me to lose it.
When we're doing stuff at that moment I feel like doing it, but all the rest of the time I really don't want to. He said if I won't have sex with him he "won't break up with me but will be really pissed off" I should expect that right?
It wasn't like his before and now he doesn't even wanna go anywhere with other people; he just want us alone together so we can have sex. I am wondering if there is really anyone out there that wants real communication.

I have been accussed of being to blunt and way to harsh but I am honest. Is there a particuliar way that one should practice honesty. I mean, really if I am honest it is going to hurt sometimes - if I play or dance around how something that I say may make you feel - then am I really being honest?

I once had a friend tell me that just because I am honest does not give me the right to tear someone's heart out.

My question is this - is it my responsibility as a REAL person to be honest or to worry about how someone may feel about my honesty?
