She passes on all family and social functions if a Kabbalah event is taking place. How should I deal with this relationship. We're not married yet, but engaged. Should I just let her do what she feels she needs to do or book on out of the relationship?

Married, seperated, on the road to divorce, but obviously miserable and the relationship with the spouse has ended. Months after you call the quits you begin to have a "mental flirtatious affair" with his best friend. No intent to be devias but u cant control your feelings. Do u walk away miserable and never pursue the new relationship? or Do you take a chance life is too short? Both people are head over heels for one another and both scared to make a move, because morally its wrong.

I'm doing the divorce myself. Me and my soon-2-B-X both want to hurry things along. He's been gone since Feb 1st '05 and filed his self April 19th '05. However he didn't know how to do it and it was too much work so he quit and had the case dismissed. Now I've filed in Wayne County, MI and would like some advice on how to fill out the form and what form to fill out. At least an example of a motion would be great.

I love my darling husband to death but not his snoring. How are you all dealing with this. Is there really anything out there to help with this problem besides a whole apparatus to put over your head?

She married him and the only one who knows is their little baby. All her other kids dont like this guy. The law does not like this guy for now. But they married anyways. His family doesnt like her and her family does not like him. But they married anyways. He has a past of verbal and some physical abuse towards her, more verbal and she has a past of forgiving and forgetting the abuse. He promises now that they are married things will be better. She believes him...............................What happens next? All ending excepted.

I keep hearing people who are in long term monogomous relationships living together with children say that marriage will ruin their relationship. Why? It sounds to me like they are in a marriage relationship. Is it the religious aspect or the government aspect that will ruin it. If you are religious you can have a ceremony and not necessarily have the government interference. It is still sacred. Or do you not want somebody financially and legally tied to you so that you can escape without too much financial reprucussion. Maybe having a piece of paper is like jinxing it. I really want to understand but just don't get it.

I'm so unhappy in my marriage, and have tried just about everything there is to connect to my husband emotionally and spiritually, but it's just not happening. Am I a complete failure? Do you think I will fail in another marriage? I've been with him since I was 18 and now I'm 31 and very very sad.

My wife shouts at me day and night - at any little thing. I am in a de-tox progrom for alcohol (successful so far). She was requested by her doctor to not shout at me during this 2 week period. Does not stop her - picks on any little thing and shouts about my family, my housework, anything.

By the way I make a very decent salary in the silicon valley and support my wife and my 2 kids. I am not perfect but do the best that I can.

I try to resolve issues by discussion but get shouted at in return. This is a pattern with us.

What are options other than divorce (she refuses to go to counseling)? We have 2 little children

Hi, I am going through a divorce, my wife cheated on me. I am not going to date until the divorce is final, that is just my personality type. But I was wondering, given that most divorces seam to be asked for by the woman, do woman look at a divorced man as someone that wasn't good enough for another woman and therefore isn't good enough for them? I know woman are very competitive, I was always flirted with more as a married man than a single one. I don't plan on bring up my ex-wife and what she did unless asked as I hate it when people talk alot about ex's when dating. Oh and would you think it was weird if a man didn't want you to meet his kids unless you dated for a long time? I don't want my boys meeting every woman I date, I want to wait till it is definately very serious before they meet her (like moving in together serious) so that they don't become attached to people that don't work out. Would that sound insulting?
Thanks

Hey everyone
I was dating a guy (non american) who told me he was single and later confessed he was married. He says no one knows he is married. Why do you think this would be? He apparently married his wife in his home country. I broke up with him, but curious as to why he tells no one and wants no one in the US to know? Seems really shady.

My husband has showered me with many gifts. We celebrated our second wedding anniversary recently. It had been my idea to buy him the world....so to speak. I searched for a Gemstone globe, everywhere...none to be found. Found one at an antique store close by, the day before our day....Paid a meager 50 bucks for it, but the idea was from the heart. I polished it to look brand new, and the gems which were embedded in the shapes of the countries, looked priceless...I wrapped it, placed a card in it, and presented it to him at the place where we took our vows. in the card i wrote...You have given me the world, now and forever, I want to give it back to you. He gave me 2 carats worth of diamonds. In a few days he told me my gift was Cheezy, not to mention that it came from a second hand store....I could have at least bought him something he could use...What do you think? Sounds like the sentiment went straight over the top of his head?
