What do you do when you’re a woman and your best friend is a man and you do everything together, but he then gets a girlfriend? My best friend and I had planned to go travelling together next year, he’s always telling me I’m his favourite and the best ever and that he loves me and wants to marry me and that I’m the best person in the world to go travelling with. But now he wants to go with his new gf instead. He tells me that it had never been a ‘concrete’ plan between us so I shouldn’t be angry with him. But I feel confused and like I am his last resort, when he’s been telling me, even very recently, that we are ‘soulmates’ etc. Do I have a right to be angry with him, or is it okay for your friends to throw you over for their boy/girl friends? Should I be more understanding? I spent ages thinking about all the great things we were going to do, and now he’s going with her, but she doesn’t even want to go to the same places he and I want to. Do I have a right to be annoyed?

I guess because I am a loving person, I seem to always make friends w/ women who use me. I really don't like having friends because of that reason. Seems like I bend over backwards for someone & they just use. I have a female friend that I've know for 9 yrs. When her sister & her were fighting and she was on the streets I was there for her. Now her sister is back in her life, I call she blows me off.
How do I go about telling her how I feel? I don't like hurting peoples feelings. My sister said that's the reason she stopped dealing w/ her too. Should I be straight forward and tell her I don't appreciate her being a "fair weather friend" someone who deals with you when there's nothing better to do? Ask her why she's acting like this? Or should I do like I have for the past few days & not speak w/ her. Her ex is coming out of prison tomorrow. I'm sure she'll be calling to complain about him. Should I blow her off like she does me?

Why does he flirt with other girls except me?
their is this boy whos 15 and im 14 ive fancied him for a long time and we are good mates and everything but im shy of him and hes shy of me because he knows i fancy him and he seems to get embarrassed he flirts with other girls except me i mean he talks to me and helps me with stuff but when we are alone he doesnt talk to me if i see h walking on the way to school he looks allover the play he actually smiled at me for along time once, i kind of made a mistake by telling everyone i fancy him and everyone says hes not worth it that he doesnt like me in that way and he will never like me in that way, if i speak to him on msn sometimes he speaks to me and sometimes he goes offline we find it hard to talk to each other and he hardly speaks but hes nice if i say hi to him he will say hi back and when he sees me he doesnt usually smile that much, i dont know what to do should i move on because its reall hard for m to ask him out or do you think he fancies me or hes shy or not advice me pl

So I've been best friends with this person for about 2 years. We do almost everything together. But this semester is going terribly wrong. She became friends with one of my ex-best friends that has done some horrible things to me and we don't ever talk anymore. So my best friend has been acting like I don't even exist, and I confronted her and told her about it. So she said that she would try to include me in more. But she hasn't at all, but i'm not necessarily mad at her about it. So today in our history class I was talking to one of my friends and she was talking about this boy that likes her. And I was giving weird faces while she was talking because I think that the guy is a weirdo. And I guess my best friend thought that I was giving her weird faces and she asked me wats up with the faces and I told her that they weren't to her. I have this friend who I really don't want to hang out with, but it's really hard. It is really getting me down. I tend to say how good a CD or book is, and then people ask if they can borrow them. They are friends (not particularly close) who are asking and so I do lend them. I rarely get them back, even if I remind them several times nicely. I don't want to fall out over this, but I feel like they are trying to punish me and I feel so crap when I think about it. I really want my things back because they are really great books/CDs.

Well, my friend and I are in a fight. The reason is because she pushes me, says things about me behind my back, calls me names, and when my friends died she nevered cared. All she did was ask me things about how they died. And I didn't won't to answer them. She wants to be my friend but I'm tired of it. What should I do? Should I have to put up with this? Or should I not be her friend?

My friend of 3 yrs (same age as me: 21) is a sweet gal. We don't have much in common but I truly care about her, and so it really troubles me that I no longer feel comfortable bringing her around any of my other friends. She is very depressed and self-conscious, has very erratic and socially unacceptable behavior, and acts like 5 yrs old in normal social interactions. She becomes sexually suggestive anytime we are around a male, flirting and talking about her sex life. She gets very loud and always brings conversations back to her own interests, and becomes annoyed and sometimes self-destructive (will threaten to hurt herself) if she feels no one is paying attention to her.

This is very problematic because I know she has mental health issues, but she has always been there for me. But I can't stand to have her embarass me when we're out together. She has so many problems and I hate to destroy our relationship but I just dont feel comfortable doing things with her in public anymore :(
