i guess i'm just so into what everyone else wants, and trying to help them understand that they can make it happen. i don't know what i want, because i'm letting others choose the things i want for me. i'm so tired of letting my parents push me around, i want to be the one to choose what i want to do with my life, where i want to live. INCLUDING where i want to go for highschool. but how do i tell them?? i've never been a good socaliser when it comes to family conversations. espeshally with my dad. he makes me do everything i don't want to do. he just puts in all these other options, i just get confused. what should i choose? how can i be able to make my own choices when i don't even know what i want?

Okay, me and this girl used to be bestfriends! Since we were like in third grade... We did everything together, When her father died i was there for her, and when my parents split up, and my dad turned into a terrible alcholic she was there for me. She was like the most best person in my life! Well, now we are not even talking. Every since she met this guy, and i'm the one who interduced them. My boyfriend and him were really good friends, and they lived together... I don't know why she is acting like this! We haven't spoke in almost six months, and heven't been really close in like two years... I miss her so much! Everytime i try to ask her what is wrong she never says. Well her and that guy are married now, and i figured the reason she is acting like that is because i have become really good friends with her husbands brother's wife... She is great, but she has been acting this way before me and her sis in law became really good friends.... Should i keep tryin' or leave well alone?

My friend and I met this guy while out together at new year's eve at a friend's house. They exchanged phone numbers, but she was pushy about it. About a month later, she told me that the friend had told her that the guy she exchanged numbers with was interested, and that they were going to go out. So I mentioned it to some mutual friends, and they thought it was suspicious. So I asked the guy whose house we went to that night if his friend had said anything to him about her, and he said no. So she lied. So how do I go about saying something to her about it without being b!tchy or over-confrontational?

So I'm just wondering...how do you work up the courage to talk to girls if you're shy. I mean I'm really nice and I'm fine around boys, but I can never seem to start a conversation with a girl. If I get to know them, like a few of my neighbors that are girls, I can be really nice and friendly, but I have a hard time getting to know people in school. For example, I went out with this girl that lives near me beacuse we saw eachother everyday at the bus, so it was easy to get to know her first, but I just can't seem to get to know girls at school. Sure I can talk to them, but after saying a couple things, they always just lose interest no matter how hard I try. Anyone know the best was to ask out/talk to girls if you're shy?

my roommate drives me crazy!! she has no tact at all...

she'll walk into the room, and say stuff like "you've gained weight, you look like so-and-so now" and, I know she's not saying stuff to be rude, she reallyt hinks she's just being honest.

and she'll walk around, with her phone IN HER HAND, with it on speaker phone, at 8 in the morning when everyone is trying to sleep.

how do I tell her she's a complete B***** without actually saying that??

i have been seeing this guy for a long time and we have been really close for even longer! our relationship is awesome but there are a lot of rumors going on right now that he's cheating. so i was talking to my bestfriend about it so now she wants me to break up with him and never talk to him again but i know he would never cheat on me. but now me and my bestfriend arent near as close as we used to be and im worried that we are growing apart and i dont wanna loose her. what should i do.?

When my friend walked in the door, i had us go around the other way to the computer so we wouldn't walk in front of my step dad. I keep replaying the whole thing in my head and wondering if i did it because he will think she is fat or i was embarassed by her and then when we walked to my room, i wondered what he'd think. No matter what someone looks like. if they are purple,pink, blue, black, white, too short or too tall, 50 lbs. or 500 lbs. i will still care about them and be their friend but it bugs me about what i just said. I keep obsessing i actually went through another part of the house so he wouldn't see us and wondered what he'd think when he saw her or if maybe i felt embarassed. Although, i am a good friend besides this. I feel like a horrible friend because i obsess over "what if she knew i did that" ..i feel selfish like i don't deserve to be her friend.

well yesterday my friend told me a woman called her from her boyfriend phone and let her know she's been with him for 3 years now (my firend has been with him 1 yr) so she is obviously the one on the side if you will. he told her he needed space and isnt ready for a relationship once he knew he'd been found out. he said he'd be moving out and she can have the apt which she cant afford. she decided she would leave since he wasnt ready to be committed to anyone. so today, she found out she's pregnant. talk about 2 big shockers in 2 days. she will be having the baby and i guess remaining there with him. i know this is a recipe for disaster, he does have another gf, he has said he's not ready to be with her and im sure he will be going back and forth between the two (or maybe more) girls. i feel bad and dont want her to end up more hurt...is there anything i can say? or do i just say nothing and act as if she never told me what happened yesterday?

One of my friends asked me out. I was talking to him one night and out of the blue he decides that he wants to take me out. He wants to do the whole shabang. Go out to eat, to the movies and then to hang out for a few hours. I'm not sure if I like him as much as he likes me. My friend and i were talkin earlier this year & we fell n love. We still are. But he started talkin 2 a girl-and i look WAY BETTER than her!!! I tried 2 keep us together but he chose her instead & now they go out. He isnt in love but he likes her. My birthday was on thursday and we made out (i didnt reach in!!) that day and the next but i didnt know they went out. Then on monday we made out again and i finally found that he has had a girl 4 about a week or two. He still texts me sayin that he loves me & that he misses me. Now i found out that his girlfriend went 2 the movies last weekend with my friends brother. And her brother fingered her and now they go out. Even though i love him, should i tell him that his girl is cheating? Or should i let karma come back 2 him??

girls are in class and girls are walking passed u while going to class, how can one stop that person and have a conversation with them and tell them that I like u. But isn't it wierd to stop someone while their going to their class and stopping them. That seems like the person is stalking them or is despersate. how can a person get to know another when never of having class with them but just passes u by once in awhile on campus? My boyfriend and I are really good friends with another couple. My boyfriend and the other guy went to school together and his girlfriend and I are in the same classes in college and we hang out quite a bit. I would consider her my best friend right now. Anyways, that's who we are and this is what's happening. Every day I go over to their apartment after class, this guy calls and as soon as she calls she tells me it's her uncle but she seems really flirty when she's talking... so I know it's not her uncle. Then, she was on MSN and her ex was IM her saying "love you babe" and stuff like that. She told her now-boyfriend that she NEVER talks to him but he calls their apartment every day and she talks to him on MSN when he's not around. I told my boyfriend about it and he's pretty mad at her cause he doesn't like what she's doing to his friend. I'm not sure if I should talk to her and tell her what she's doing is wrong or just leave it alone. I don't want her boyfriend to get hurt. Help?!?

There has got to be an effective way to contact friends you knew from childhood. Classmates is cool but what if you didn't go to school with them? What if you knew them from DeMolay or Little League? Is there something out there? Is there any effective way to use Craigslist for something like this? Thanks for your thoughts.

somone who is always there
who stands by your disicon even if they dont agree
who tell you once they dont like your b/f but let it go becuase you do
who will pick you up if you were starnded 5 states away
who you can act like a total nut around and they love you for it....
