girls are in class and girls are walking passed u while going to class, how can one stop that person and have a conversation with them and tell them that I like u. But isn't it wierd to stop someone while their going to their class and stopping them. That seems like the person is stalking them or is despersate. how can a person get to know another when never of having class with them but just passes u by once in awhile on campus? T(this is a University)

just be yourself and say hi or "accidentally" bump into one of them.

Come on, you are a college student now, it's not high school any more and you CAN be a more assertive kinda guy now. What do you have to lose? I work on a campus and see it happen all the time. Girls are loney too, some just wait to have someone stop them, it's NOT like stalking unless you constantly follow them. And not talking to them can be worse, if you notice them and just gawk. Just stop them and say something like, I notice you go this way everyday, where is your class? And go on from there. Try it. All they can do is stop or not stop.

Join some of the clubs at the college that are co-ed. It is difficult to stop someone because you don't know if they are rushing to class or not and will be angry at you for interrupting them. If there is a cafeteria or common area go there to study and strike up a conversation with females there. Good luck and God Bless.

You need to get involved in activities on campus. Clubs, groups, etc. That's the easiest way to find friends, including potential girlfriends. If you are doing a fun activity together, they get to know you and like you and the rest is easy from there. You can meet people bowling, working together in a campus restaurant, in a club of any kind -- there are many ways.
Stopping people walking by is the hardest way to do it. Make it easy on yourself and focus on getting into groups and activities where there are both men and women.

stop me in the hall even when i am with my friends (it will show me that you are confident and must really like me) then same something like: "i see you walk by here everyday on my way to class and was wondering what you are doing friday night, there is this realy good restaurant down town that i would love to take you to, would you like to go?" if she says yes or no, introduce youeself and get her name and # for another date and time
Any girl would be flattered by any guy asking them out, weather it is a ugly freak, or a total hottie.
you could also stop her and give her your number (already written out on a paper with you name) and say call me and we can go out this weekend and keep walking. This way there is no awkwardness for here making the decision and no awkardness on what to say to her.
just have confidence!

have a party at your home and invite her to your party and site naxt to her and start toking to her about your feeling to her.

make friends with THEIR friends. if u hav comon friends between u two, then let him/her introduce u to each other.
