well yesterday my friend told me a woman called her from her boyfriend phone and let her know she's been with him for 3 years now (my firend has been with him 1 yr) so she is obviously the one on the side if you will. he told her he needed space and isnt ready for a relationship once he knew he'd been found out. he said he'd be moving out and she can have the apt which she cant afford. she decided she would leave since he wasnt ready to be committed to anyone. so today, she found out she's pregnant. talk about 2 big shockers in 2 days. she will be having the baby and i guess remaining there with him. i know this is a recipe for disaster, he does have another gf, he has said he's not ready to be with her and im sure he will be going back and forth between the two (or maybe more) girls. i feel bad and dont want her to end up more hurt...is there anything i can say? or do i just say nothing and act as if she never told me what happened yesterday?

I'm sure she knows she's in a bad situation, you don't have to tell her that!
Make sure she knows that you care, you support her, you're there for her, etc. She will need your friendship a lot in the coming months.

As a friend I would just be honset with her because a true friend will be honest and stick through whateva bull **** a friend goes through. Thats the whole idea of being a friend. Also sometimes love can be blinding to a person and it sometimes require for an outsider to shine some light on the situation. She might be blind to the actual situations thinking if she has this baby that will keep him. But thats not true a Man is going to do what he wants because in all actuallity they arent as tied to the baby as the woman. They dont have to carry the baby for nine months or hold as strong a role unless they are a good man that does his job. So shine some light on your friends situation but be calm and really nice because remember she has been going through a lot and she does need a friend whether you may believe it or not. Just take it one step at a time and dont be so hard on her or point the finger cause all that will do is make her defensive. Well I hope I was helpful.

Boy, what a mess. There's not a whole lot to say. Just be there for her and give her support and friendship. She's going to need it.

Well I'll say she was a dumb**** for not using birth control. Tell her to either get an abortion or make sure this guy pays her the max child support possible.

just tell her i think your first priority is too your baby and it would be better for you to move out because you can not count on him to be there for you. he doesn't know what he wants, and he told you he isn't ready to be with you. tell her you are her friend and you are there for her. tell her maybe time apart would help him to make up his mind who he wants to be with but regardless he has to be there for his child.
