I'm a straight girl and I told a doctor one time that i want to be bi (but i know she couldnt make me one) and she told me that I must have some feelings about it to want to be, but what did she mean?

The first semester of collegei had trouble with. I didnt introduce my self to anoyone at first. So when i finally did start doing so everyone already had their little clicks set up. Anyhow i didnt make any friends first semester.. But this semester I started talking to people in class quite abit and made one friend so far. Anyhow i was wondering on how I could make friends w ith the other guys that sit by me in class. The trouble is, is that they dont have the same interests as me really so I dont know what to invite them out for and what not.

we have a mexican girl 23 years old that has been working for us for the past year. she speaks no english at all. she works 11 hours a day and is the only mexican there along with my mom and cousin. i try to converse with her to keep her from being bored but conversation is somewhat difficult. i know some spanish because i took 3 years in high school. we had some decent conversations before and i try to talk to her everyday. she only speaks when i talk to her and never talks to me. she is not a shy person. when i stand next to her it feels awkard like she is trying to avoid eye contact with me and she looks uncomfortable when im close. should i just stop trying to speak to her.

I know how bad it is to talk bad things about other people, but I always do it anyway...and at the wrong place at the wrong time.... My best friend just brought up a conversation about how she thinks a girl at our school is annoying and I agreed everything she said and we started making mean comments about her. It just so happens that the best friend of the girl that we were talking bad was standing right next to us and was listening to everything we said. I didn't even realize it until my my best friend told me about it. I feel terrible talking behind her best friend's back. She was really nice to me too and all I did was say bad things behind her best friend's back. Now everytime I say "Hi" or just smile at her, she just glares at me and walks away. I know what I did was bad and that I shouldn't be talking nasty things about peoples' back, but I just really want her to forgive for saying the things I said and be my friend again... Now I don't know what to say to her. Any advice?

Im a very shy reserved person.. I need stop this behavior and enjoy life more then i am... I really dont talk to anyone but my family because it seems i no longer know how to socialize.....how can a shy person as myself break out of my bad nonsocial ways..... Thanks for your answers :)

There's this chic in my class, well, she's like the Popular chic , and, she came and sat next to me, and we were talkin before class,and when the class started, she went back to her seat.
When the class was over, I caught her staring at me, for while, and she smiled,I asked her "Hey, whats Up", and she blushed away sayin "Nothin!"

Although I currently have a myspace, I am getting sick and tired of it. I prefer to talk to people one on one over the phone or in person. Myspace just seems like a lazy way to communicate with people whom you never talk to in person. People need to get off of their *** and go outside to get some fresh air. Myspace is a joke!!!!!!!!!

One of my friends, who has an excellent sense of intuition, told me earlier this week that he found out that in spite of him making so many good new friends @ college, there are a notable amount of kids on campus who think he is a creep. to make matters worse, he found out that the reason he couldn't make friends earlier (all the way back to 3rd and 4th grade) was because even then kids thought he was a creep.

He then recorded some phone calls and recorded some online conversations and showed them to me. Sure enough, he wasn't paranoid, kids have.... always thought he's been a creep (not weird or strange, but creepy). The thing is he hasn't done anything stalker-like or disturbing, he just watches out for people and has helped quite a few get out of some tight spots, regardless of if they knew him well or not (which was candidly and clearly confirmed as well).

He also has a fundamentally charismatic, personable, and enjoyable personality, and gets out a lot. How can I help him?

MY cousin is a guy and he got his eyebrows waxed, his right ear pierced,and he keeps wearing these long sleeved shirts that are tight around him he still likes girls but he hangs out with a lotta girls such as me and my friends. he hangs out with a couple guys, i feel soo sorry for him cause his best guy friend, and a lot of other people start to make fun of him and he hides behind his School Planner, he used to be populaur untill this happened me and his cousins and guy cousins dont care what he looks like except one of my friends that cares only for herself. but what could i do??? i feel sooo bad for him, and is he gay, or still straight...i don't know....i havent even seen him during breakfast when he always eats with us!!!!!

One of my biggest fears is being the friend who is taken for granted. I feel like when people need someone to talk to or need help they come to me and expect me to help them. I try to be a sensitive person and a person that people can come to with their problems but I feel that I am taken for granted. In addition, although I don't have direct proof, I have a gut feeling that my "friends" only want me around at certain times, like when they need help. I feel out of the loop. In the past I have been taken advantage of in relationships so I have tried to stop myself from investing in relationships but when I live like that I just don't feel alive. I know that any relationship is a risk but how do I respond if I may be getting taken.
