The first semester of collegei had trouble with. I didnt introduce my self to anoyone at first. So when i finally did start doing so everyone already had their little clicks set up. Anyhow i didnt make any friends first semester.. But this semester I started talking to people in class quite abit and made one friend so far. Anyhow i was wondering on how I could make friends w ith the other guys that sit by me in class. The trouble is, is that they dont have the same interests as me really so I dont know what to invite them out for and what not.

If the people are in classes related to your major then you've definitely got a common interest. If not, just keep talking to them. Even if it's just talking about the class or how weird the professor is.
Or you can try joining clubs.

join a club!
there are DOZENS of clubs u can join in college, and that way u know u have something in common!

and then the ppl in the club introduce u to THEIR friends who arent in the club, and your social circle grows from there. Plus its a GREAT way to meet UPPERCLASSMEN!!!

also, (if ur not too shy, i know i used to be but) hang out in public places on campus. even if youre just sitting by yourself reading, do it in the cafe or on a bench in a busy area. so when ppl come up to u they can be like "oh ive seen u around campus" put ur face out there! like there was a group of guys who used to always be in the lobby of the dorm and eventually they knew EVERYBODY cuz everybody had to walk past them and we would always say wazzup.
