Friends - March 2007

One of my friends does drugs. I never have been pressured to do them and if I am I would never do them. She is only in 7th grade too! I feel so sorry that she flushed her whole life away, but she's my friend am I really like her. I want her to still be my friend, but I don't really want to hang around the wrong crowds. What should I do?

I'm in love with my best friend and I told her. She either doesnt love me back or doesn't believe me. I really want to be her friend but it's hard for me to ignore my feelings for her when i'm with her. I rarely ever see her and we only communicate with e-mail. And when I do see her, I always hug her and hold her tight. I kiss her on the cheek and neck and one time we kissed on the lips really softly but it just happened for 2 seconds. I've told her many times, in detail that I love her in e-mails. I even tell her after I kiss her and she says "do you mean that?" I tell her yes!!!! I love this girl with all of my heart but I dont want to hurt myself when I'm with her. I can't pretend I dont love her. What should I do? I want to be her friend but its hard because I have intense feelings for her.

okay my best friends megan's bf cheated on her with me by accident...it was hard cause we both were really attracted to each other but aren't allowed to date cause we both stay over at each others house alot cause we're in foster care and so one night while i was over at his house he kept leading me on so i finally lead him on to cause i was way too attracted to him to just let him do that to me and me resist it every time so we ended up making out...and doing...other stuff.....and so i kept telling him he was dating my best friend and he just said that she don't have to know so i just gave in and well... she knew i liked him but didn't know if we ever did anything so she kept asking if i ever did anything with him while they were dating so finally i told we did and i told her what we did and we're all good..it's almost as if i never even told her and i asked why she wasn't mad at me and she just told me she's not one of those wierd types of girls...why isn't she mad at me...

I dont want to be selfish, but I have liked this guy for two years, (we'll call him A) but my friend (we'll call her J) started liking him a month ago. me and A are good friends, and we know everything about each other. however, J is suddenly "obsessed" with A, and I know that A likes J, but I think he likes me too! my dau.graduates this yr as does 3 other girls they all grew up as cousins all parents are good friends also. so last july two of us parents decided to have one big party and invite a band that we like.the party was to be at one persons house because he has never got to show off his new house so he really wants to do it there i have no problem with that. we asked the other girl to join also everything was going great until now all of a sudden this other girl wants the party at her house and her g/m is the one who asked the band to play for us and she goes to watch them every weekend. i dont want the party there either does the other family but if we have separate partys then the band will go with the other girl since her g/m is the one who asked them even though it was all our idea and we invited this family to join our party. see this girl is rich and very spoiled also and has to be the center of everything ....srry out of room more in details please read them too

I am in middle school and i wanna know why kids in middle school can change so much. the people that i used to hang around with and talk to now care more about popularity, fashion and physical looks and hanging around wit popular people only. for example, i have a friend i went to elementary school with that was always accepting people in. she would be friends with any kind of person. but ever since she went to middle school, she changed. she went from being a friendly person, to a person who cares only about being friends with the popular kids. she never talks to most of the people who were her friends in elementary school unless they're popular too. is middle school just a popularity contest? is it only in middle school or will i face it again in high school? is there a way i can change myself so i can be friends with anyone?

This guy I met online claims to be a head surgical nurse at a hospital in AZ. Has anyone ever heard of a hospital named DW Memorial in AZ? I've checked the AZ Board of Nursing website and nothing comes up when I put in his name. Is there a way I can search all 50 states to see in which states he may be licensed in? Lately I have taken a good look at myself, and I have to say, I do not like what I see. I have turned into a mean bitter person who HATES everyone. I have ran all my friends away with my bitter attiude, and I am probably on the verge of losing my boyfriend. It seems like I be little him every chance I get and make him feel like crap. I know that I would not want to be treated like this, yet I just cant stop. I feel like a big bully who NO-One wants to be around anymore. Lately I've keep to myself and just stay locked in my house. I dont go out, I dont have fun, I just stay all to myself. I feel like I dont know how to make friends and to have fun anymore. What do I do? Ever since i entered high school, i have four good friends and we always hanged out together. They are Michelle, Melissa, Jesslyn & Carrie. All of us were in the same class in our first & second year but when the third year came, Carrie was in a different class because of her bad results. Since than, Carrie became super sensitive and she never spare a thought for me, Michelle, Melissa & Jesslyn. For example, All of us wanted to go ice-skating next sat and she actually wrote on her blog that she hope that this outing will be cancelled. Sorry to say, all of us really hate her very much. She's always talking back about others and never reflect on her own bitchy attitude. Besides, she's like a dog to people who join gangs. Almost all the guys in our batch don't like her. I really want to put an end to her idiotic attitude but how am i going to tell her in a nice way?

A couple months ago my best friend, and I mean my BEST friend, the one that I would trust with my life and tell all my secrets to, messed around with a guy that I was kinda dating. Now I say "kinda" because we weren't serious or anything. But we had been seeing each other and messing around for more than 3 years. Then one night I left the bar early to go home and I found out that my best friend left with him and gave him a ********. Now we're kinda talking again, but she keeps asking why we aren't as close anymore. Is she retarded? What am I suppossed to say? Shouldn't she know that it's never gonna be the same? I need advice on what I should say and how I should be acting around her now. I don't trust her at all anymore, and it's really sad cuz we used to be super close. She tells me she can't lose me cuz I'm her only "true friend'. Shouldn't she have thought of that before?

Iam a shy & quiet girl but i do like conversations but the problem is i dont make eye contact that much. i cant stare at there eyes & happen to move around, do something, or look down(I do listen to their conversations). I was really depressed before and later I started hanging out by myself or with my other friends. (3 people) But now I think my old friends are mad at me and don't hang out with me. Ok I know this sounds like the most stupid question ever, but here goes. I gave a guy my number and he's all I can think about, he won't actually get the number till tomorrow(Friday), a lot of people are concerned/mad for/at me because he is 20 I am 16. my mom is fine with it as long as we aren't doing "it"(and yes I am a firm believer in abstinence). Now the weekend is creeping up on me and I’m worried about his call. What do I say, I really like him but become friends first? So what, have him call so I can ask if we can become friends? I’m SO confused. And the worst part...I can't talk to any of my peers about it cause they go off on this you should be careful don't do this do that BS. My friend and I were in gym class walking with our friend Jenny who said she wanted to show us something. We stopped off and she started taking off her shoe. Let me tell you, her feet smell horrible as it was, but they were of the chart when she took of her shoe. She said she had been wearing the same socks for 2 weeks. I didn't mind. But later on, about a month later in gym again, I was walking with the same friend name Robert, and out of nowhere the most horrible thing i've ever smelt was in my face and I nearly fell over. Aparently she had still been wearing them. Well, even after that, a group of friends including Jenny went to Roberts house. We all went in to play truth or dare which was Jenny's idea. By this time i'd forgotten of the sock. I went first and I cose dare. Jenny took off shoe her and a deadly aroma filled the room. Jenny had been wearing those socks for 2 months! I had to bury my face in them. I gagged and went in the bathroom and threw up. I am literally afraid.
