I'm in love with my best friend and I told her. She either doesnt love me back or doesn't believe me. I really want to be her friend but it's hard for me to ignore my feelings for her when i'm with her. I rarely ever see her and we only communicate with e-mail. And when I do see her, I always hug her and hold her tight. I kiss her on the cheek and neck and one time we kissed on the lips really softly but it just happened for 2 seconds. I've told her many times, in detail that I love her in e-mails. I even tell her after I kiss her and she says "do you mean that?" I tell her yes!!!! I love this girl with all of my heart but I dont want to hurt myself when I'm with her. I can't pretend I dont love her. What should I do? I want to be her friend but its hard because I have intense feelings for her.

don't tell her you love her too much, but tell her you truly mean it and giving her a gift would be good, let her take it in and wait to see what she says, ask her if she loves you back but don't put her on the spot

maybe you should give her a gift and tell her that you love her
but at least you have the courage to tell your friend that you love
her but me i dont even have the courage to do that
