I say it's OK because it just IS! You feel how you feel and that's the way it is. Now, you can't just act on your feelings. You must respect this girl's boundaries if she doesn't feel the same way. But I say do try to become friends. Build up something and gradually pay attention to how she feels. It's possible that she could potentially have feelings for you someday, as well, but don't push it. Start off by talking to her more in school. Later, you could send her a friendly email, just to chat. Does she know you like her like that or just as a friend? Be careful about people harassing you. I would just keep this a secret between yourself and close friends who are supportive. You don't need extra trouble. Even so, follow your heart. Just take it slow...

ok...it's absolutely ok to add her to your contacts. Nothing wrong with that. It's ok to e-mail. It's not against the law. You want to be her friend, go ahead and be her friend. No law against it. Anything that happens after that, is all upto you. You have to decide what you want to do. Some will tell you to stay away. Some will tell you to go for it. You need to o whatyou want. A crush isn't bad. It's part of growing. It's what you do about it that people have trouble with. Go ahead and be friends.
