I’m the responsible one in my group of friends, which means I always end up carting the crew around town all night. I hate that and don’t want to always be the reliable one.

Are they really your friends or are they just taking advantage of you being a responsible person.
If they're really your friends then you must stand up for yourself. Next time you all hang out you should say it is someone else's turn to "cart the crew around town". It would be better to give them advance warning so they can arrange something.
If they are taking advantage of you then they are not true friends and you should find other friends to hang out with.

Oh simple, take turns...my friends were like that and what we would do is we would pick a name out of a hat or something similar in which the person who is suppose to be responsible for the night is picked at random. Note there were some rules, like no drinking, and make sure everyone makes it home. But u have to figure it out and do it...it worked out well.

GAS is getting expensive! I would tell them straight out, the hard word many have trouble with... NO! Not all the time you should make time, you need to think about yourself, believe me once you learn to use the power two letter word, they will back off and learn to appreciate your friendship or move on and back stab you. Who cares that is a great way to find out who your true friends really are! GOOD LUCK!

That actually started to happen to me.. I had a friend who took advantage of the fact that I don't drink alcohol, so I was always the driver. In the end I had to be honest with her and say that I couldn't always be the driver and it was only fair if we shared the driving a little.

If you let people walk all over you, they will. Stand up for yourself and say it's someone else's turn to drive and that you all need to take turns. How can they get mad?--if they do, then screw them, because they are selfish, but most likely they will accept it, suck it up and drive for one night.

i know it's no fun for you at all,but in the long run, you are keeping your friends safe and alive, just sit them all down together, and tell them you want to be crazy and have fun once in awhile, if they were really your friends they'd understand, or-just stand up for yourself and say, NO NO MORE, its my time,so find another reliable one for now

You need to tell them that you want to go out one night and not have to worry about babysitting their lame asses. I hate people like that. Stop catering to them, make sure they get the point.

Tell them they need 2 take responsibility and so you don't have to struggle all the time watching them go bananas! Don't like yell at them though. Be calm and explain. If you don't wanna use my stratigey ask your mom.

get hammered and speak from your heart and tell them that its not fair that you drive all the time. if they wont compromise then get new friends. maybe call some old friend or something. but really get drunk and tell them to come pick you up so they know you want to have a good time too. (dont drink if youre underage)
