Friends - March 2007

I began cutting about 7 months ago, and my best friend (whos a guy) has tried to get me too stop, but i didnt, and now within the last 3 weeks or so, he just says he dosent care if i cut myself or not, Does he hate me now, or has he just started to think he cant stop me, So he gave up on trying to get me to stop? does he even care if i died anymore? or what is going on, Because i cant stop but i dont need him mad at me.

I wanted to plan a suprise birthday party for him, but it seems like allot of work that I can't pull off. And I was thinking maybe I could just do something just the two of us. But he's really hard to buy gifts for, he's into music, and he's really outgoing, he likes to dance and loves the beach, and he likes good food, and being pampered. and traveling, I was thinking of a trip to take him on.

my friends call me ditzy and stuff. i try not to be though. its been kinda hurting my feelings. and for spring break i am going to see a guy tht i like and i know he likes me back. how do i not act ditzy or "blonde" around him?? and all of a sudden it seems like i am getting dumber the longer my friends put me down?? is my fear of becoming dumb becoming a reality?

ok, i a girl, and one of my friends gets really upset whenever even think of her (evidently my eyes get all glazed over or something) and i'm not sure what to do. i'm trying to ignore it, but it's really annoying, cause i really like the girl(for the past 3 months) and i am finally doing something about it, and my friend doesn't seem to like it. at all. should i talk to her about it or what? any advice would be great

There is this very goodlooking, athletic guy i know; and he told me that aside from pursuing athletic aspirations, he also wants to be a writer. So I was very impressed the day he 'wrote' me a poem about how he is very self concious although he portrays a macho exterior. I read the poem and thought, "Wow" The day he gave me the poem I went home and searched the name of the poem on google, just to see. I figured this poem was too good to be true. Sure enough, it came up. Invictus-Hedly. Why do you think that he would copy a poem and call it his own?

ok so tell me if im wrong... my friend who has just turned 14 has a on again off again boyfrind who is about to turn 17... now they say it's legal so it's ok but in the back of my head im thinking it's not ok even if it is lagal... he's kinda tricking her into doing things that i don't really think that she would normally do... she's my best friend and she won't leave him permenentlly and everytime they split she says that it's the last time..and then a week later they're back at it again... is this wrong? and if so how can i help her get over him?

iI know this is the wrong place to post this kind of question but where i posted it nobody seems to be answering it! My friends say she was in her office and since its a small comapny shes the only recepionist there and she said that one of her co workers tryed to rape her in the office. She managed to get away but now shes scared to go back to work. Please help her with this situation!

ok, to hide the embarrassment, i'll use code names.. ^_^

My friend, Cookie, is going out with Nimid. Nimid doesn't even like Cookie and he's going out with her! {wuts up with that!!} Nimid likes Gii. Gii is Cookie's best friend! Gii likes Nono, who hates Gii and loves Cookie. But the thing is, Nono and Nimid hang with each other and are half best friends. Nimid thinks he belongs and is awesome with Nono, but Nono doesn't quite like Nimid anyway. But after Cookie found out that Nono likes her, she started flirting with him! I really, really don't want Cookie to go out with Nono, but its her decision. I prefer Nimid because he's more hearty. Nono changes his mind of girls every week it seems. I don't want him to get into a deep relationship because he's a close friend of mine and I don't want it to be awkward with him every time I'm with him.

ugh. So a lot of this is to rant but i need advice...(ps-im 17)
1- I am going out of town this weekend with my boyfriend (of 8 months) and his family...I LOVE his family but lately he is bugging me. I love him but i dont think im in love...and i tried to break up with him but couldnt do it. I REALLY at least want tonight to myself because we are leaving tm. and we already made plans to hang out...what do i do?
2-I have been talking to my ex/first love and am starting to get the feelings again (butterflys, smiling when i think about him) kind of thing. the only problem is we both have new lives and new boy/girlfriends.
3- my "best friend" is trying to control everything i do, and always says im blowing her off even when im not. I try to include her in things but she is super passive agressive. I dont know how to deal with it...suggestions?

this girl spread rumors about me and my friend lee.
but i didnt know until my friend lee told me.
and lee got the news from dee.
dee is my friend and im mad that he didnt tell me and made me seem ignorant infront of lee.
so im mad at dee casue he said i would just go through the roof if he told me that girl spread rumors ab me, and he didnt want to deal with my getting mad.
but he told the other victim of this and im a victim too and i feel left out and i cant count on him.
can i get mad at him or should i appreciate that he doesnt want me to throw a temper tantrum?

I love my best friend to death, but she needs a serious reality check & I'm not sure how to go about doing it without destroying our friendship. She is a single parent to a 4 year old boy but her focus is almost completely on having a man, this has caused more issues than I care to share. She bounces checks almost as a rule & nearly every bank has closed her acct, but "this is not her fault it's hard as a single parent". Her parents have offered to help if she moves near them, but she doesn't like them enough & her job has excellent retirement benefits. Nevermind the fact that we are under 30 and she was living out of her car last year. She makes good $, but HORRIBLE decisions, yet she gets upset when people don't bail her out of whatever the crisis of the month is. She doesn't see that she is her worst enemy and the cause for her circumstances. She just continues to play the victim card. I'm really over the whole thing and it's becoming very hard to hold my peace. HELP!!!

I have had a hard last couple of years parents getting a dicorce and dealing with multiple suicide attempts now i feel I am in the same situation that nearly cost me my life 3 months ago. I don't want to die any more but life seems unliveable. I am moving to a totally differnt state and have to leave my friends and I have noone that understands how bad I am feeling.
