ok so tell me if im wrong... my friend who has just turned 14 has a on again off again boyfrind who is about to turn 17... now they say it's legal so it's ok but in the back of my head im thinking it's not ok even if it is lagal... he's kinda tricking her into doing things that i don't really think that she would normally do... she's my best friend and she won't leave him permenentlly and everytime they split she says that it's the last time..and then a week later they're back at it again... is this wrong? and if so how can i help her get over him?

Well, the age of consent varies from state to state - but generally if both people are minors then there isn't anything illegal there. Not to say that it's okay for him to date her, because quite frankly their age difference is a bit much, especially since she's only 14. Do her parents know about this guy?
The only thing you can do is tell her what you think and let her know that you think he's using her. Odds are she isn't going to listen to you. If her parents don't know you could also tell her parents, but if she finds out that you snitched on her she'll probably be super pissed.

17 years is still legal, 18 years and he might be in trouble if she wants to, or her parents put a stop to it. Love has no age unfortunately, but if he is making her do wrong things, then its just plain bad and stupid on her part and he could end up in a lot of trouble as soon as he turns 18, but unless she sees that, there is nothing you can do but just give her advice. Its up to her to decide.

its a hard question but i think all u can do is tell her whats wrong but if she don't want to listen to u let her find out the hard way even if it is kind of cruel because u cant decide for her or else Ur relation ship wit her will be worse if he isn't the guy for her
all u can do is either try to help her but if shes to hard headed leave her alone and let her get it the hard way.
