Last year, my friend and I were really close, but she was more of a leader and expected me to follow her, which, I did. Throughout the year she was horrible most of the time, she totally dissed anyone I made friends with and made me feel really bad so I was horrible to them aswell, she was always insulting my family coz her family's like millionares but mine are'nt, and way more worse stuff, sometimes she could be really nice though, but at the end of the year, I got totally sick of her and told her to shut up-thats all I said and she hasn't spoken to me since, and its been four months. I've got loads of way better friends now, but she keeps backstabbing me and stuff, should I just ignore her or do something about it? Yea, you probably think, just ignore her, but its not that simple when she will go out of her way to hurt me somehow.

I am decent. So I dont like dirty jokes. The biggest turn off for me is INDECENCY.

Not that it's any easier for a gay guy to make friends, but I'll explain the distinction below:

I've worked full time for years, long hours, etc., with friends that were mainly co-workers. Now I'm running my own business solo and suddenly without the co-worker net, I realize my guy friend network is non-existent. So just make new friends, right? Well, how does one make new friends with other guys in their 30s? Guys don't really strike up conversations with other guys (strangers) unless they're trapped in an elevator. That's on fire. And there's a bomb on the roof of the car. And even then, it's weird to ask for a phone #.

I dunno. Any ideas...? Places to go? Organizations? Something?

My best friend and i have been friends since Kindergarten. But lately, i've been jealous of her. Probably cuz, well, she gets wut i want (like boyz, my crush asked her out and she said yes, but even though i have my own BF, i still get jealous cuz i really liked him and she knew that) or mayb i feel invisiable. All of my guy-friends and some of my gal-friends 4get i'm there, they'll give her a hug and walk away. & sumtimes, she'll start walking with sum1 & leave me bhind, i know she doesn't mean 2, but it hurts me. How do i tell her this? How do i make myself un-jealous? Wut do i do?

I live in delhi, I have one girl in my life for 2 years as a good friend but sometime I make fun with her and she got angry on me but some time she forget that stupid fun. I make do fun with her with her like my other friends but she is girl so sometimes she got furious and later she got normal but from oct 2006 her attitude was changed when i wish her birthday. She gave me red flower and sometime she send me love SMS but I again i make a fun she is still angry on me i told her i love her but she is telling that we r just friends forget me just be a good friends, she will go Canada on April for 3 years to do MBA I can't understand how I stop her I don't wanna lose her but i still don't know this love or only friendship.

Ok I really want a My Space because all my friends always talk about how cool they are....but I hear about all those girls who got hurt, kidnapped or worse cause of them. I can’t decide if I should get one. Plus my mom won’t let me have one, but she doesn’t understand that I have no social life because my life is in our home cleaning and pretty much catering to my families every need. Bark back! Okay, first of all, some backstory. This will get COMPLICATED, because believe it or not, there are FIVE people named "Jayson" in this story. It's a kind of inside joke at our school, cuz there are so many, but just bear with me. :)

Okay, so Jayson #1 is my best friend. He told us his parents are splitting up last week.

Fast forward to this week, and he's REALLY depressed. To make matters worse, Jayson #2 lives on his street (yes i know its confusing) and is being a D!CK about it. They have always had a rivarly and he's MAKING JOKES about it. Can u believe that? Rivals or not that is NOT cool.

Jayson #3 and Jayson #4 are in my class. They are good friends of mine but they think Jayson #1 is overreacting. Jayson #3 said his parents split up when he was liek 10 and he didn't get that affected. The problem is, sometimes we all hang out together, and I can tell that Jayson #3 isn't being sensitive. How can I stick up for Jayson #1 without pissing off Jayson #3?

my sister-inlaw lives with me and my husband. She is disabled, has no car, or hardly any money. She has some depression and isn't always positive about life. That is no problem for me, but she has no friends or a boy friend. She says she isn't lonely, but i caught her crying tonight when she was scanning the internet on how to find friends. She told me she was lonley and needed friends to talk too. I am glad she wants friends or a boy friend, but she never goes know where, other than with my husband and i go some where. We don't go out to many clubs or have many friends ourselves. She couldn't find nothing she liked on the net, for finding friends. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to help someone find websites or anything on the net where you can find friends?

Okay everyone. I have SOME problems in school. Well basically almost everyone makes fun of me. Like everything; every little thing. Like my weight tallness(5”9), hair, looks everything you can think of!!!!
There’s this one kid name Arthur(grrrrr!!!!). He calls me gothic cuz I luv punk/rock music, sometimes heavy, black, black nails. Red sometimes I draw gothic pictures, wut I wear. i'm sick of it!!!! My father always says: “ignore them & they’ll leave u alone”.
I try that one day& I still cant do it. Sometimes I feel useless,helpless, & weak. I always think bad thoughts about me dying or listen to rock music(heavy); drawing bad pictures when im like this. Wut should I do?!!!!!

Say you got into a tremendous fight with someone close to you, to the point where they are refusing to even speak with you. You admit you are in the wrong and try to do everything in your power to make things right again, but this other person just wants to let the argument continue and try to provoke the apologizer into losing their temper by calling them childish names and insulting them in general.

Both of these people are good people who just happened to have lost their tempers with each other and are paying for what they said to each other with guilt and depression. How would you go about making things right again?
