Just tell people you're her 'worst' friend.

Seriously, does it really matter? You say you're done with college--so obviously you're a young adult--but this is the question of a KID. Grow up and focus your time and energy on the more important things in life.

You should feel happy that this friend thinks of you as their best friend. Maybe she doesnt have that many friends and you are the nicest person to her.
If you really feel like you must say aomething to her be nice. Just tell her that you dont want her to be your best friend.
I do have to say though that you should feel ashamed and be happy that someone thinks so highly of you they want to tell others that your their best friend.

and it makes a difference why? Maybe you are her best friend, even if she is not yours. Of course given this question if she consideres you her BF, then that is just sad.
