If shes not potty trained so what?
She will catch on.....
if she doesnt then tell her she REALLy has got to try.
I think her teachers should just let her go, there pretty mean in my opinion.

Well, how do you manage her if she isn't potty trained? Do you have diapers sized for a seven-year old? That is absolutely fine, if that is what you believe is best for your daughter.
This may work for you, but public school officials can not deal with these types of needs. Teachers are not paid enough for that. I'm sure there are laws forbidding teachers to deal with a student without clothes on, and real hygenic concerns that must be dealt with as well. Think about it. Are you comfortable with strangers helping your daughter out with her intimate special needs?
If you believe that this course of action is best for your daughter... really the best thing to do.... then I can not tell you no. However, you can not expect society to accept that progress chart when it causes extra time, money, and stress to a public institution.

Girls are usually potty trained between 1 and 2. At least my 2 girls were. My daughter is 7 now and it is very strange to me that you have allowed this to continue so long. You are hindering her social development and probably a heck of a lot of other things. I understand wanting them to move at their own pace, but some issues have to be taken care of on schedule or you could stunt the growth of the child. You wouldn't just let her wait to learn to talk until 7. You would take her to doctors to look for a reason. If you have had her checked medically and there is no reason pysically then , the only conclusion is the you are too lazy to teach her. We will all damage our children in some small way unfortunately. But that will usually be in the course of being parents and dealing with times we are in. Potty training is a basic function. If she hasn't learned this then she is probably far behind others her age in many areas. It is your responsibility to fix this. I couldn't bare the thought that my daughter was being made fun of b/c she hasn't been taught that using the potty is a humane bodily function. You should be ashamed.

The norm for a regular child to be potty trained is 3 years old. Yes you are wrong. Unless she has some sort of handicap or learning disability. She should have been trained years ago. I have a mother who acts towards one of my nephews as if he were retarded. She feeds him does everything for him. That is why he makes no effort to do things. The kid is 10. He is not handicapped or anything else. At his moms house he doesn't act that way. My sister would not put up with it. If you are like my mother is with him. Yes you are very wrong.
