I broke a promise to one of my best friends. I promised I would never hurt her. we grew up together. She cried with me when my best friend was killed. I helped her out of bad boyfriends and abusive family problems. Then I met my fiancee.

She was afraid of the relationship I had with my friend, and told me that it made her think she wasn't good enough. I told my friend that she just needed some time, and it would be best if we didn't talk for a while. she cried so hard. she said, "if it makes you happy, then that's all I can hope for. I'll do whatever you ask me to."

It's been over three months. I need to apologize. I can't find the words. I can't gather the strength. I feel so awful. What should I do?

i was going out with this girl and she was lyk well she started to call me husband and stuff for fun then today on the fone she was like i think i can last with u for over a month and then 1 hour later she dumped me through an email saying that she didnt really lyk me she jus used me and stuff but the thing is,we were to meet up twice and the first time she didnt turn up and 2nd time i went to the place where we were guna meet but she sent me a txt saying she couldnt come and i lyk wanted to go on a date with her and lyk make it a damn good one and i needed money for it so i was saving up and to save up i needed to lyk starve lunch and keep that money to make her happy..now i feel really bad and angry what should i do?:(

This relationship between my friend and his girl has been off and on for 4 years. The time that they think they had concieved the baby was a one night stand type of deal. She doesn't allow him to be himself or do anything that he wants with out her permission (ex. watching rated R movies because of the chance of there being nudity in it). She is rediculously jealous of my girlfriend, girls he works with and girls in general. He allows her to make himself feel guilty over all this crap. Her family sees that she manipulates him as well as everyone else (including counselors). If there is any advice that i can give to him, please let me know. He has such low self esteem that he doesnt' know what to do. He doesnt see himself with her in the future, but i'm wondering if there is a way around it now.......

Has anyone found true friends when you were older, the kind that you will trust your life to? Like the kind that you would lend $10000 to and you knew, you just knew that they would give you that money back no matter what, even if it took them a long time?

well I need more freinds and I don't know how to start a conversation with them, or keep my mouth moving for a long time so they can think I'm a fun person to hang with.
I don't want people saying '' Oh my gosh i don't want to hang out with her she's soooooo boring''.
My parents won't let my freinds call my house because they think their bad.
So I can only talk to my freinds when they're gone.
So what can i change about myself to make new freinds, i MEAN COOL FREINDS?

it's not like ive just realised this today. i really thought hard about it for like 3 months now, and i found out that i am really in love with her. but both of us are straight. i sure am straight. i love guys, i love going out with them, having fun, making out, etc. i love my friend, and im not thinking of something sexual. i just care for her so deeply. and im finding this really weird. im also scared of telling this to her because the last thing i want is for her to think im a freak and leave me. i just feel nice and special when im with her. ive had boyfriends before, so i think i know this is something real. what do i do know?

I have lived with my high school "friend" for the past two years, but she is constantly lying about everything! Just recently she told everyone we work with that she found 6 hours of lesbian porn on my computer and she knew all along I was a lesbian, and which is why I dont like her boyfriend (I guess because I'm jealous?)..which is NOT true. She also told them she does all my school work and leaves her no time to do her own and that is why she is doing bad this semester. Which is also NOT true! She constantly tells me my best friend is a bad friend and that I am dumb for still wanting to be her friend, ect, ect. She has betrayed all of her other friends and I'm pretty much all she has left. I want to move out but our lease isn't up for another 7 months. If she makes my life living hell being my friend, I can't imagine what she would do if I said I didn't want to be friends with her anymore. Sticky situation! I NEED HELP!!

My best friend and i are both in the same physics class in college & her father is the instructor. I have known him for 3 yrs. He always seemed cheerful and happy but now he just seems depressed & sad. One day in lab I heard my friend say for whatever reason, "just shut up dad you're a total geek." Another day in lab she told him to "Drop dead" because SHE screwed up on an experiment, so he gave her a sad look and walked off. I go to her house sometimes where she is really mean to her parents. Her dad doesn't play favorites to her in class just because she is his daughter. She got a D on one of her tests & that day I was at her house, she griped at her dad & he told her to be quiet because he had enough so she screamed at him "I hope you DIE dad!" She does it all the time. In lectures, sometimes he looks like he cried tears before class. Im kinda worried he might be suicidal. My question is can you kill your parents by telling them you hate them & that u hope they die every single day?

Relapse..drug addiction.?
i fear my boyfriend is having a relapse... hes doing the whole isolation thing and wont call me or his mom back, which before he went to rehab meant he was off using... i dont know how to react... i am pissed, but i know blowing up wont help the situation, but if i just let him get away with it then he will think its okay and IT IS NOT. ive already told him i cant go though the whole additive addiction again, but i also know people slip, i want to help him get back on track but i dont want him to think i will just sit here and go through this again and again... i wont. please help!

ive been working my own recovery as far as being co-dependent and i go to naranon, so i know i cant "fix" it... im not trying to do that, im tryin to manage my own reaction to his action and i need help on what the most constructive way of doing this would be...

is it possible to be stuck in a younger state of mind?For example once my parents got divorced i believe i some how never really moved on. Its odd watching all of my friends grow up and have strong relationships when i am hanging out with people younger than me. I believe that i am still at the same age when my parents have got divorced. I still like to do the same things as when i was younger and i never got "interesting" in guys where i wanted them so bad. In fact sometime i still believe boys have cooties. I dont know, its hard to explain, i just wanted to know if anybody else has expierenced this or have heard of it, thank you!

There is this girl I like We are both sophmores and have known each other for months and we both know we like eachother.
