I have lived with my high school "friend" for the past two years, but she is constantly lying about everything! Just recently she told everyone we work with that she found 6 hours of lesbian porn on my computer and she knew all along I was a lesbian, and which is why I dont like her boyfriend (I guess because I'm jealous?)..which is NOT true. She also told them she does all my school work and leaves her no time to do her own and that is why she is doing bad this semester. Which is also NOT true! She constantly tells me my best friend is a bad friend and that I am dumb for still wanting to be her friend, ect, ect. She has betrayed all of her other friends and I'm pretty much all she has left. I want to move out but our lease isn't up for another 7 months. If she makes my life living hell being my friend, I can't imagine what she would do if I said I didn't want to be friends with her anymore. Sticky situation! I NEED HELP!!

Wow you are stupid.
Move away and get an education and only worry about yourself. focus on getting ahead and least about other people, move out on your own and be independent meaning live alone until you finally meet your partner or what ever.
and by the way most of the socalled friends from highschool where never friends just idiots that lived near you and where the same age, explore the world and you might find that life isn't a soap opera if you live naturally

Thats too bad that you have such a long time left on your lease. Well ur "friend" seems to have a compulsive lying disorder and maybe she is insecure and makes up for that by pointing the attention at someone else. If i were you i would play her own game on her..i know it sounds petty but hey..some people just dont learn and its easier to get a little satisfaction out of revenge. Why not just tell her your a lesbian...maybe it will freak her out and she'll leave you alone. As far as homework goes...tell people if she's stupid enough to do work for someone else she deserves a bad grade

My best friend lies to me all the time, I just spot it easily, and we go on being best friends. I guess it just depends on how they lied(ex, if they meant it as a joke), why they lied(ex, if they lied because they didn't want to hurt your feelings or were embarrassed), and what they lied about(ex, if they lied and said they had 3 pices of gum left and they really had 4). Just talk to him about it if you really care that much about it. I don't think you should let that stop you from being friends with him because he lied once, unless he makes a habit of lying a lot.

thats a real tough situation. i'm sorry i'm afraid i don't have much advise far from finding anyway possible to break your lease. find someone with that kind of knowledge. maybe someone with the power to break the lease, like the apartment manager or something. also, maybe there is an alternative to breaking the lease. maybe by making a deal with the apt. mgr. to start a new lease by yourself or with someone else.
i really don't know how that works but i'm sure there are alternatives.
i had a friend like that. i had known him forever and i was the only friend he had left. but finally his antics were holding me back furthering my life in college and life. we both still lived with our parents 2 housed down from each other so it wasn't such a sticky sitch.

you need to tell your friend exactly how you feel,tell her that you feel very uncomfortable about the situation and if things don't change then you will have to break the lease and move out,simple as that,it may cost you a few bucks to break the lease,but isn;t that better than sticking it out there for another 7 months in that stressful situation?good luck.

Ask the landlord to take you off the lease and move out. You don't need that crap. If they don't let you, just go. You owe her nothing. She has not been a friend to you. Get out before it gets really ugly.

convince one of those idiots that thinks she is telling the truth to move in with her so you can move out. Is there perhaps an advisor at school that can help you.......perhaps even a new job.
