is it possible to be stuck in a younger state of mind? For example once my parents got divorced i believe i some how never really moved on. Its odd watching all of my friends grow up and have strong relationships when i am hanging out with people younger than me. I believe that i am still at the same age when my parents have got divorced. I still like to do the same things as when i was younger and i never got "interesting" in guys where i wanted them so bad. In fact sometime i still believe boys have cooties. I dont know, its hard to explain, i just wanted to know if anybody else has expierenced this or have heard of it, thank you!

It is not a matter of whether I feel the same--it is a matter of your inability to move on. If it is a problem, admitting to it is the first step---then you can move on. You are in total control of your life. While a young attitude isn't so bad, it might be time to find more mature things to do---that's all your choice. If you choose not to then it's all on you. I would say that you will naturally grow out of it because you usually get tired of hanging with people who don't do things appropriate for their age group. See it from the outside---don't you think you look silly with the crowd you're hanging with.?Of course you do...get a grip. Reality will soon set in and you'll move along at your own pace. Now have fun and good luck.

It's called arrested development. Mine is related to the fact that I was in a loveless marriage and now I want to date young guys. Why do you think Michael Jackson is so messed up?

Sounds amazing similar to a bad case of immaturity. Learn to get over it and act your age even if you have to explore it to be rid of it . you have to move on eventually.
