This relationship between my friend and his girl has been off and on for 4 years. The time that they think they had concieved the baby was a one night stand type of deal. She doesn't allow him to be himself or do anything that he wants with out her permission (ex. watching rated R movies because of the chance of there being nudity in it). She is rediculously jealous of my girlfriend, girls he works with and girls in general. He allows her to make himself feel guilty over all this crap. Her family sees that she manipulates him as well as everyone else (including counselors). If there is any advice that i can give to him, please let me know. He has such low self esteem that he doesnt' know what to do. He doesnt see himself with her in the future, but i'm wondering if there is a way around it now.......

he should talk to her and let her know that he can't be himself around her.. she is creating him to feel unhappy.. he should try to stay but not without change..people grow apart and this is partly why..too many differences.. if he has done nothing to make her jealous then he has nothing to feel guilty about..tell him to put his pants back on and be a man..no one should (be the boss) honestly they should be equals.. he does need to stand up for himself..have some independance from her .. tell him to get a hobbie.. and go out with the guys fishing, hunting, playing pool, camping..ect.. he should be able to take off to go fishing with the guys and not have to worry about her getting upset about it.. tell him even if she does she will get over it in time..it will build his self esteem to do somethings without getting permission..

Plain and simple..Take some time apart... like 3 months. No phone calls...just like you never met the person and then think. Do I really want this for the rest of my life....You already know the answer. Don't you ?

she sounds like a very selfish person, if i were him i would not stand and take crap like that as a matter of fact i don't know a man that would, he needs to just move on and she needs to face the fact she is not his mom, baby or no baby nobody should be treated that way.
