I told my boyfriend that he doesn't talk to me a lot and that he answers all my questions with a 1-3 word answer.. he likes me and everything, but he's really shy and he doesn't know how to talk! I'm a 9th grader and my boyfriend is an 8th grader.. could this be a reason? Do I intimidate him???

they are reaaaaaaaaaaallllllly studious even while eating they are studying the =min they start talking it is abt some problem or equation. i am studious but studies to this extent gets irritating. any suggesions

I had gotten the news a few days back of the death of one of my ex-friends aunt I know that her and her aunt were very close it was so hard for me because we had lost touch for four years and she missed two big events in my life I kind of couldn't forgive her for that aside from all the drama we had over something i felt really wasn't worth it anymore ..so i talked to someone about it and told them the complete story and their advice to me was to go it was a good advice after the story they had told me seems they went through a very similar issue.so I took the advice and went with a friend (which was also suggested) so that i wouldn't back out ...and she kicked me out she said that I'm trying to make some sort of point by being there and like I want to prove I'm better than her I kind of feel like I should have never gone and to think we were inseparable at one point. makes me so sad . Maybe I shouldn't have gone? What would you all have done? And if it was a good advice to go ?

When my kid was 6 months, his father was arrested and been in prison for almost 7 years. I'm the one who take care of my kid during these years. I and my kid shamed for what he did. So, I don't wnat to use the name he gave my kid. We're out of country and won't come back in this few years, so how can I change my kids name out of country? Please help us.

My husband is very spiritual and does not allow our kids to watch anything with profanity in it, or that has any kind fo sexual reference to it. He doesn't even allow them to watch some disney shows that show a guy and a girl kissing at the prom or whatever. My brother wanted to take my sone to see spiderman 3 and x-men and my husband objects to those kind of movies. My family thinks that it is going to affect the kids in the long run because he is being to much of a control freak, and he is overly bearing. What do you think?

My sister inlaw has gotten out of hand. She's 21 and she lives with her mom. She doesn't do nothing at the house and doesn't wash her own clothes. Has loud sex with her boyfriend and yells at her mother. Doesn't repect at all, my mother inlaw is tired doesn't get any kind of contribution financially or laborally in the house. My husband is getting ready to turn 20, and he's never had his own birthday party. Not because his family doesn't celebrate birthdays, but because his mom favors his older brother, who is getting ready to turn 26. And they always celebrate my husbands birthday with his. He's never had his own cake or anything. This really upsets me. I am throwing him a birthday party, not inviting them. But my question is this, how do I make his birthday party really special? We don't have a lot of extra money, so I need ideas on how to pull this party off cheap, but still have lots of fun. Please help! All ideas are appreciated.

My friend's relationship with her boyfriend (exfiance) is coming to an end. She's gotten to the stage of just nagging and berating him. I keep telling her how I see it and what her options are. She often asks for my advice. Plus she brings this up SO often... I keep telling her that I can only give her advice based on what she's told me (b/c I don't know the guy). Recently she's gotten pissed off at me b/c she doesn't like my response. She's starting to make stupid choices (like talking to her psycho ex)...I'm trying to help prevent it but it's useless.
So what should I do? Tell her I'm not going to help her b/c she won't listen or gets mad at me?
It's like she wants advice and then doesn't want to hear/take it. It's pissing me off. I don't know what to do anymore.
So, what do I do???? (Right at this moment she's pissed - How do I get her to snap out of it and see the truth?)

my dad scares me...i know he would never harm me visicly, and he has never tried. but he raises his voice over the smallest things! he never does this to my mom only to me...ususally when she isn't around. most of the time i am so scared that i start to cry, my dad doesn't understand why he says i need to be tougher. i can't help being emotional.

what do i do? am i too emotional over this? have you experianced a similiar situation?

when i invite people over they dont show up, or they invite me over and not him, or they don't invite us at all. nobody wants to do things with us. I NEVER had this problem before I was with him.

He isn't a terrible person, but has a strange personallity. I wonder if I can love him, why can't other people at least tolerate him. For my sake at least.
