I told my boyfriend that he doesn't talk to me a lot and that he answers all my questions with a 1-3 word answer.. he likes me and everything, but he's really shy and he doesn't know how to talk! I'm a 9th grader and my boyfriend is an 8th grader.. could this be a reason? Do I intimidate him???

just give him time. try talking about things that you know hes passionate about, like sports, videpo games whatever. but then if you have been dating for awhile then you probably knew he didnt talk much before you got into this relationship. guys tend to say about 60% less then woman do during the day. so maybe he just doesnt have many words left. lol i know this is serious and all, just let him know it bothers you, and no it is not mean to tell someone how you feel. i doubt that intimidation is a factor, but please remember that if you dont ask him these things you wont really know for sure. good luck

i dont think it would intimidate him...but ur just bein honest!!! honesty and trust is wat u need in a relationship. and if hes shy....then stop complaining about him not tlking...and make him feel more comfortable like u love him and when ur with him...its like u 2 r the only ones...im a super shy person. i dont like to tlk much...but thats wat would make me feel much, MUCH better. and maybe once he is assured that ur by his side...he will tlk to u...and about ur questions and with his answers...well start up a convorsation... ask him out...and go some place wer u guys can tlk...not a movie...but like maybe in the park or something...and u guys can just chat the whole time!

you should tell him that you want to tell you more. probably he thinks that what he says doesnt interest you. you shoult tell him that it isnt so.
