Its my daily struggle since I recently broke up with the man I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. Its hard to focus on today because today was supposed to include him and its hard to think about tomorrow because I have to now make all the future plans by myself. At first I just wallowed in it and cried. I think you need time to do that. At some point you get sick of wallowing and start getting focused. The only thing that seems to help is time.

Its a question I ask myself most days....just know the past is in the past and you can not change that but you can change the future and it starts by focusing on today...Today is an opportunity that tomorrow can bring happier heart felt memories...

Just make your way and don't let the past ruin the present. I have the same situation right now but I'm living the present to more than the past and it really is working.

When you sit back and think of the past is it good memories or bad? If they are good memories hold on to them, because you may not get those back, however if they are bad just let it go. Keep yourself occupied and try to think of other good memories. The past is what makes you who you are.
