When my kid was 6 months, his father was arrested and been in prison for almost 7 years. I'm the one who take care of my kid during these years. I and my kid shamed for what he did. So, I don't wnat to use the name he gave my kid. We're out of country and won't come back in this few years, so how can I change my kids name out of country? Please help us.

Return to your state of origin, return the kid to his rightful parents, and turn yourself in for kidnapping.

my kid what a cold term for your child.... does anyone love that little boy... Even thou dad might be a deadbeat, i can hardly give advice to you, seems like you are stealing your child away from family... what about his grandmother and cousins on his fathers side... dont you think they mean anything to the boy... You need get your head screwed on straight you cant run from your problems... grow up and learn to deal with them

You still have to go through legal channels. He'll have to sign the forms (the father) so you need a lawyer to get this started. He can prosecute you if you run away with his child.

Find department of vital statistics on the back of the birth certificate and either go online for an application or find the number.

get both parents to sign the form, it will be done
or wait until the kid is 18, then he/she can do it
