the guy keeps saying he is sorry because he knows that answer works for you, actions speak louder than words, he needs to show some improvement in the way he treats you before you easily give in to him saying sorry, next time he does something to hurt your feelings tell him saying sorry just isn't cutting it anymore and that you would like to see a change start to happen, also explain to him that it may be easy for you to forgive but just because you do that he shouldn't take advantage of your forgiving nature and that you will not forget all the mean things that he has said to you to hurt your feelings, your parents probably do not like him because he keeps continuously doing the same things over again and falling back into the same pattern....

If you keep forgiving him your only sending the message that it's ok to treat you this way and I think your parents don't like him because they know you deserve better! I hope you agree.

Yes forgive him but maybe you need to distance yourself from him. Tell your boyfriend how you feel and talk about it. Communication is the key. He could be trouble or he could have a "disorder" that causes him to do this. I don't know and he may not tell you if he does. It could be he is jealous, hurting or craves attention. Talk about it. but be prepared to distance yourself from him.Talk to your boyfriend.

no he will never change. Please trust me you are setting your self up for more heartbreak. Women think the best of people all the time and it's just not always so. People rarely change are less something really core shaking happens to them.

Why should he change?
You are tolerating the behavior - he has no incentive to change. He can lie and treat you like crap, and you have proven to him you will still stick around.

who hurts ur feelings ur bf or ur bfs best friend?
i have the same situation. my bfs cousin is also his best friend. and my parents hate my bf (ricky) my bfs cousins name is juan. when juan lies to me i ignore it but when he starts telling me stuff i tell my bf (ricky) but he doesn't do anything about it cuz he knows that i know that juan is just playin with me. tell ur bf and make sure that u mention that u don't like how his best friend treats u tell ur bf to talk to him. one time juan went too far with his immature jokes so i told my bf that i didn't like it and i told him that juan should respect me and not say what he had said and my bf talked to him and like juan still jokes but he doesn't go thaaaat far anymore. Just tell ur bf to talk to him
if u wanna talk more, contact me..don't feel bad he just wants ur attention....quit paying attention to him he'll eventually grow up and quit treating u like that (as long as ur bf doesn't start acting like that)
good luck

you cannot change personality. that sticks with you forever. ignore him as much as you can, or find a new boyfriend.
