an unfit mother is one who by her actions place the child or children in danger,either physical,psychological or emotional,and then does nothing to rectify the problem.
Also not feeding their child,providing adequate clothes, shoes housing, medical attention all these contribute to an unfit mother.

The woman I was a nanny for! She used to be away from her girls at least 75% of the day. Then19% they were in bed or locked in their rooms while the remaining 6% she was yelling at them. She had more booze than food and refused to potty train her 3 and 4 year old. I stepped up and had to report her to the authorities before any improvements were made. I took care of those girls like they were my own and they did exceptionally well. I still love them to this day and would do anything to be with them. I left because I couldn't take the mom being so abusive towards them. When I knew they were safe, I got out of there.

does nothing for her kids, like clean fed them go to school meetings could care less how they look are acted , a piece of **** for a mom.

Someone who endangers her children in some way, whether through abusing them, exposing them to dangerous situations (her own drug abuse, drinking, etc.), or otherwise putting them in harm's way.
