I will be 29 in 4 weeks and i am single. I hate it. I want a relationship with someone that I can grow old with. Is this normal? Should i settle for a guy that I dont relly like or just be patient?

she is 29 with 3 girls, have a boyfriend we call K-Fed as he is such a loser. He hits the girls, pulls the 2 year olds hair and gives the 10 yr old wedgies. Finally after a few months we convinced her to kick him out. This lasted a whole 12 hours. 'K-fed' won't let us around there to see the girls, they always want to come here, they can't stand being at home and hate the fact their mum has put this 'bloke' before them. We have threatened to take the girls off her and we took 2 for a while (as one is still breastfeeding), but the fact is we don't have the room for them here as I have 2 kids already and live in a small place. Why does she let this loser control her, he won't pay his way, he didn't work for 6 months out of the 8 they have been together, the girls are missing out on so much, she doesn't even have enough food for their school lunches etc then lets them stay home. She LIES all the time about how she is getting rid of him – putting the girls emotions in overdrive .

My best male friend and I have been friends for 2 years. WE are both 16. This year he flirts with me, calls me beautiful and when the school dance came this Friday and 3 girls asked him to dance he escaped them not to dance with them.
He was dancing beside our female mutual friend.. not holding hands or anything and then he saw me come in during a slow song and he just left the gym.....
I don't understand why he would do that? :S

My boyfriend of five years and I are looking into marriage. After lots of thought and consideration we have decided that we really hate all the stress and cost of most weddings and would rather just get married at a courthouse. We are very no-nonsense people and this just seems to be the most appropriate for the two of us.

However, I don't really know how to go about a courthouse wedding. This is a first marriage for both of us and everyone we know has had a conventional ceremony. Do we need to get a marriage license ahead of time or will one be provided at the courthouse? How much do these weddings normally cost?

Also, who should we invite to share this event with us? We were thinking our parents and two friends each since we don't have siblings. Should we invite more or is that too many?

Any info would be helpful.

k so i hanging with one of my best guy friend at my schools basketball game and he saw a had gum in my mouth and asked if he could have one so i was joking took what i had in my mouth and gave it to him and he was seriously going to take it and put it in his mouth and i said no ill give u a new one and he was like ok good now i wont get aides. i can tell he likes me by like flirting and things he says to me but wow i think thats just weird, what do u think?

We just got married in Las Vegas and I would like to change my last name now. However, when we got married, I was not asked to sign anything. I always thought that if I sign the marriage certificate with my new last name, it will be really easy to have it officially changed afterwards. Will this be a problem if my marriage certificate lists my maiden name, but I want to change mine to my husband's last name?

I don't know if my man is cheating on me or not, but the girl who said he's messing with her is URGLY!-I spelled ugly wrong intentionally here to emphasize how ugly she is. & she's ghetto & project & young-looking with a baby, & she looks like she does drugs & smokes. ok here it goes he looks alot like today i passed him on the stairs and he looked over at me and i looked back and he just held it for a few sec. and then this morning i looked up at him and he stared back then looked away...but i dont think he likes me cause he knows i like him and has known for like4 months yea i know pretty pathetic..anyways his friend seems to know something because he nudges him and looks at me and then every now and then he leans over and whispers something to my crush and my crush will have his back to me almost like his friend is watching to see if im looking at my crush...this all happened today and a couple of other little things but before this week he started ignring me but a few weeks before that he was looking at me and his friends were doin what they are doing now...i try to ignore him sometimes and then other times i might make it noticable that im loookin but most of the time i try to just get one of my friends to watch and sometmes they see him looK

One of my friends cousin apparently made a death threat to me saying that he will bring his gang to my house to destroy my house. Later on, my friend said "I guess we ain't friends no more cause my stupid cousin". Then he said " so you don't like me no more because my parents don't like you?" Before his cousin made a death threat to me, he told me his parents don't like me and disapprove of me which is unreasonable. He doesn't want to let me in to his house. Since then, my parents found out about this conversation and now made the matter even by not letting my friend into my house. Later on, my friend made a reply to me saying "your parents hate me? tell me honestly and well don't even bother cause I know you are lying because of how my parents feel about you." I'm not the person who made these comments saying I cannot be friends with him. Now he blocked me on AIM. He spoke to me on AIM. What would you do if your friend had this behavior, against you , doesnt want to know the truth?

Situation-A couple separates and then gets back together, then they break up and one files for divorce, then they get back together and the divorce is put on hold, and then they separate again. The question is when this stuff goes on does it usually eventually end in divorce or back together for good and a marriage that ends up being better than ever?

I went out on a date last night with this woman. She is gorgeous and I enjoy her company a lot. We went to a movie and there was really no physical contact because I was taking my friend's advice and just decided to play it cool and go out with her as a friend. When we got out the theatre, she wrapped her arm in mine as we walked. We got back to the car and drove back to my place and chilled and smoked for a little while. I told her that I like her and she didn't say anything. She gave me a shottie (for those non-smokers, it's when you blow the smoke into the other person's mouth) and she was the one who asked to do it. She told me that we're just friends, which I assume is technically right, but when she left, she gave me a kiss on the cheek and said..."Bye baby." Now, I later asked her and she said she doesn't call her friends baby and almost pretended to had forgotten she said it. So, I don't know if she likes me or not. She is a Cancer woman. Do they take things slowly?

My friend is a physical therapist and received her first offer for a good position out of state. Sadly, her husband will stay back until he finds something as well. Theres this girl I think likes me... and i think i like her too... but the only thing is i dont think shes that pretty all the time. I think shes pretty sometimes but not at other times. well theres this guy who i asked out a year ago when we never talked... and of course he said no.

...but then he started staring and then talking to me slowly and now i think he wants to ask me out or hang out or something, but im stubborn and will NOT make the first move again.

i only think he wants to ask me out because:

1. he keeps talking to me about random things for 10 minutes, like cereal.
2. he keeps talking about his altel my circle and how he needs more numbers.
3. he talks about movies in theaters and asks if i would be intrested in seeing them (not with him though, just in general) and etc.
some days, though he stares at me and does not say a WORD! i don't get it!

i really want him to ask me out, i never really got over him... but hes like shy or something? i don't even know if he wants to! but if you think he does, how do you suggest giving him a little bit more confidence in a modest, non-obvious way?
