well theres this guy who i asked out a year ago when we never talked... and of course he said no.
...but then he started staring and then talking to me slowly and now i think he wants to ask me out or hang out or something, but im stubborn and will NOT make the first move again.
i only think he wants to ask me out because:
1. he keeps talking to me about random things for 10 minutes, like cereal.
2. he keeps talking about his altel my circle and how he needs more numbers.
3. he talks about movies in theaters and asks if i would be intrested in seeing them (not with him though, just in general) and etc.
some days, though he stares at me and does not say a WORD! i don't get it!
i really want him to ask me out, i never really got over him... but hes like shy or something? i don't even know if he wants to! but if you think he does, how do you suggest giving him a little bit more confidence in a modest, non-obvious way?

Ask him if he can read minds.Im sure he can and if you wait long enough he will read yours.NOT! He is probably remembering telling you no and is afraid of being rejected.If he asks about a movie thats playing, you simply say "Id love to see that if I had someone to go to it with".

Say it isn't' so~~~~~~~this guy sounds like a person that beats bushes then himself on the down stroke.
Get a motivator person that takes charge with heart and sympathy, a caring person that has nice things to say about you and not talk about his woes or his problems cause that's a no no.
Guys that beat around the bush will wait a very, very long time.

It's hard to tell when a man likes you. Most men will talk about other women around you to make you jealous. But in this case I think he likes you, but don't push it. Men don't like pushy women. And it's okay if men are shy, that just means that they most likely respect you. Just becareful, some men are just being nice and unintentionally leading women on when they have no intention of going out.

There's nothing wrong with making the first move again. Next time he asks about a movie, tell him "yeah, I really want to see it this weekend, you want to go with me?" Keep it casual, no pressure. Buy your own ticket, so he doesn't feel pressured. See what happens.

You should start talking to him instead of him always talking to you. If you talk to him then he might get the impression you like him and ask you out! You will be totally happy!

Personally I'd keep him as a friend. If he's made you wait this long, he'll continue to do it. He needs time to grow. Keep it light and nothing more until he's able to give you what YOU NEED. Be good and take real good care hun. :)
