I will be 29 in 4 weeks and i am single. I hate it. I want a relationship with someone that I can grow old with. Is this normal? Should i settle for a guy that I dont relly like or just be patient?

NEVER just "settle".
If you do that you'll never be completely satisfied.
Please wait, I know it's easier said than done, but be Patient. The perfect man will come along, then you'll be glad you didn't settle!

Amanda, I just turned 39 about 4 weeks ago (I swear seems like yesterday when I was 29, ending my second engagement), and I am telling you: DO NOT SETTLE! Even at my age, and I'm fast approaching the point where I can't have kids anymore, I am GLAD that I never married any of those guys I have dated in the past 25 years. All I can see is heartache, stress, and eventual divorce. People do not believe me that this has been my choice, but I've always been a serial monogomous dater, just never found "the one". I KNOW he is out there, and the fact that my standards are what they are, means that he will be cherished and WORTH the wait. Trust me on this. I have NO regrets when I look at my friends and sisters. My best advice: work on YOURSELF and make yourself READY to deserve him. You will attract him when the time is right and you're ready.

Be patient. First off you have to realize, someone in your life is not the one to make you happy.. Happiness begins with you first for yourself, and happiness you get from someone is like icing on a cake. Second, never ever settle.If you do, down the road you will not be happy again and then more than likely a broken marriage, that will cause more unhappiness. Just be patient and learn who you are, love who you are and make yourself happy.. Good luck
