so.......... i reaallllyyy like this boy in my class!! i know he likes me too, but, this other girl(i DO NOT LIKE) flirts with him every chance she gets!:( There is another girl (i also do not like), who flirts with him also! SHE HAS A BF! UGH! He was absent the other day, and the next day he asked me if i missed him! of course I said YES because I really did miss him. I told my best friend and she thought that was kinda like "asking me out"! I think he is really shy around girls but i KNOW he will just ask me out someday!!! (hopefully!) I need ideas, stories ANYTHING!!! I WANT HIM!!

I called this guy I fancy. I casually had a chat with him and ask him out for coffee or a drink and he says no, he can't next week as he is travelling on business. I say, ok then, no worries. Then we chat some more and he tells me "Good luck" - I was telling him about how I am looking for work and then I ask: "is that good luck or good luck an don't call me again?" an he replies "Close to that, yes..." and I say "oh...ok then, at least I know...can't we be friends even?" to which he replies: "We have nothing in common." I'm gutted as we always did have things in common in the past 6 months while at work, but here you are....
What do you think of this?

On the definition of NICE GUY.

First lesson ladies.
1.Just because a guy pays for dinner and opens doors for you doesnt means hes a nice guy. He could be doing that same thing for 10 other women at the same time.

2.Just because a guy comes up to u and says u must have dropped down from heaven and your so special, doesnt make him a nice guy. It makes him very sneaky and any woman that falls for this line needs to sign up for the mental ward.

My boyfriend of 5 monthes doesn't trust me he constantly thinks that i'm talking 2 other boys because some guy wrote on my myspace page and then my bf got mad even though i've known the guy that wrote on my page sincce i was like 15 and i'm 18 and in college now but we were never in any kind of relationship or anything. and when i tried to tell my bf that...i accidently called the other boy my babe but we never even thought of talking like that. now my bf thinks that i'm lying. and when he got mad i had deleted the messages off my myspace page and when he went back 2 look at them again they weren't there so now he thinks i'm sketchy. I’m 18. I live with my father, mother and sister. My family and I work on different levels. I’m trying to be a “better” person, and although I may not have any clue what the means, or how to go about doing it, I’m trying. I have convictions. I ask “what is the truth”. They either say, “why put in effort to find something when things work now?”, or even worse, “there is no truth, or ignorance is bliss”. I can’t stand it any more. Things I find interesting to talk about, such as philosophy or religion, are the topics they have spent all their lives blocking out. They don’t say they hate me, because they don’t. However, they hate what I am. I can not, and will not, become like them. I understand they are not bad people. I truly believe all of us are at one point lost. It is understandable for them to be different from me, and to reject me. This is a cry for understanding. There is no help in this case. I just need to deal with it, and eventually find a new family.

OK, im not cheating on my boyfriend. He does have a history of cheating (not on me though). I decided that i needed some time to MYSELF for one weekend, and took an overnight job to pet sit. My boyfriend has my work phone number (which is next door to where i was pet sitting), and never called me. But he thinks im cheating on him with god only knows who. We've been together for four years, and we've been having some problems. He is overwhelming me, and that's why i took a weekend to just relax and hang out at work/pet sitting. What do i do? Should i cut him loose? This just adds to our other problems!

This is something that can be hard to understand, because we break up with them for a reason then when they are gone we miss them so much even if we are with someone new. I know people who was abused by an ex, cheated on by an ex and lied to by an ex. Now why do we still miss and love people like that when they are gone and out of our lives, leaving us to start over new.

There's someone on here who thinks they are married to the spirit of a dead rock star.

She's posting questions which omit this detail and pretends it's a regular, legal marriage. She says that her best friend is interfering with her marriage and telling her not to spend time with her husband, which, in an actual marriage, would be pretty messed up. However, the truth is that her best friend was telling her that it's not a regular marriage, and that she should do something besides stay at home all day with her spirit husband.

What would you say to a person who thought they were married to the spirit of a dead rock star and who rejected all their real life friends and wanted to do nothing but live in this fantasy marriage?

I'm 17 she is 16, neither of us drive, i will be driving soon and we are really good friends.
