Im very shy, everyday I think about how shy I am. I REALLY dont wanna be shy. It embarrases me. I wanna be loud and everyone to like me. But it is impossible to open up. With the right material to open up, I can be a real loved person and popular. Im..well....skinny, funny, and I want people to know me more. How do I become less shy and not care so much what people think about me?

well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no. But after that whole thing she began to be really shy around me and we don't really talk anymore. she looks at me alot during class and looks away when i look. also today in class we were reading this romantic story outloud and she kept staring at me with her head in her hands and looked kinda dazed.(0) like this ( =hands 0=head

Before we got married we were really great friends, we played poker together with our friends, watched movies, played video games and basically just hung out and it was great. The things that didn't work in our marriage were finances and chores, stupid stuff that you don't deal with in a friendship. So I was hoping we could both realize that the divorce is a necessary evil and move on but still talk and hang out. Well he keeps telling me that we can but one day he'll ignore my calls and the next he's texting me eight times and calling me and asking why I won't talk to him. And then when I go to his apartment to get my stuff he hugs me and wants to make out and the next day he ignores me and then the day after that he's calling me again. I'm just so confused and know that I need to not talk to him or see him for a couple of months but I'm scared if I do that he'll feel abandoned and not want to talk to me. I'm only 22 and he's 24, we were just too young and immature to make it work.

I met an attractive woman recently who is 32ish, and we have been hitting it off, but I dont know if I want to ask her out. She is an artist and a musician and told me that she lives with her parents. I like the artist/musician part, but dont know what to think about the other part which seems a little weird to me. At least I dont think she is into drugs or anything, and she actually seems to be smart and fun..but a little shy sometimes. Says she takes care of her parents who are old.
